We've been hearing reports that Yamasaki has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Jordan avoids the body shot from Yamasaki.

Yamasaki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd cheers as Jordan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yamasaki doesn't seem phased though.

The fighters circling - Jordan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kiba Yamasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jordan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Breaker tries to free his leg and advance position but Jordan is retaining full guard.

Breaker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jordan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Breaker has managed to get both his arms back between Jordan's legs - danger averted.
Breaker passes Jordan's left leg - he's now in half guard. #SUB#
Breaker has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jordan defend it? Breaker steps over the head and cranks it - Jordan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Breaker!

Jordan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maskhadov's waist but Maskhadov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jordan off to one side.
Maskhadov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jordan's head backwards.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jordan. That's going to slow Maskhadov down.
Jordan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Maskhadov lands a head shot.
Jordan pushes Maskhadov away with a front kick.

Maskhadov cracks Jordan with a hook to the temple - Jordan is on wobbly legs here! Maskhadov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jordan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Maskhadov wins by TKO!

Jordan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Avila throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jordan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And Jordan tries to counter it with a takedown but Avila pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Avila on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jordan throws a wild body kick that Avila sees coming a mile off.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jordan switches off momentarily and Avila cracks him with a monster right hand! Jordan topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Avila dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Avila!

Jordan is looking to counter the offense by Sutherland and move into the clinch.
Sutherland keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jordan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sutherland swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jordan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sutherland's coach down at Vancouver Island Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sutherland's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Drarzak crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lukov - the referee stops the clock and Drarzak gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lukov. Drarzak manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drarzak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Lukov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Drarzak has got the better of the exchanges.
