The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee dives in for a single leg takedown but gg sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A little jabbing left from gg on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lee tries for a takedown but gg sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee throws a wild body kick that gg sees coming a mile off.
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
gg tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
gg feints the counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but gg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
gg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee.

Lee shoots in but gg avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. gg connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.
gg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
gg is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position.
gg is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.

gg has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

gg turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

gg lands a strong strike to the head of Lee. That's dazed him! gg looking to finish here. Lee is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - gg lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Hines shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Turner's guard.#ES2#
Turner pushes Hines off and gets back to his feet.
Hines tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Turner fails to land with a series of punches.
Turner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hines manages to avoid it.

Hines feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Turner wants to get back to his feet but Hines passes into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#REVB#

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Turner can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Hines will probably get the nod.

Hines seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Turner for as long as he can get away with.

Putin scores with a hook to the body. Boyka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Putin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Boyka! Putin lets Boyka back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2#Boyka is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Yuri Boyka has been cut.

Putin lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Boyka - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Putin!
