Lothbrok with a lazy takedown attempt
and First Gjter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lothbrok throws a head kick but First Gjter moves out of range.
First Gjter was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lothbrok fails with a takedown attempt.
Lothbrok takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.#CUT#
It looks like Henrik Lothbrok has been cut.
First Gjter connects with a right hand. Lothbrok shakes it off.
Lothbrok shoots for a double leg takedown but First Gjter sprawls well. He's pushed Lothbrok's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Qfc First Gjter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henrik Lothbrok.
Lothbrok shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says First Gjter as he avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

First Gjter is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Lothbrok like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Lothbrok from another fist facial!

Townsend jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Berg walks away with a smile on his face. Townsend gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Berg fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Townsend is out of range. #CL2#

Townsend has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Berg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.#TD2#

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kane Thompson.
