Cole misses with a leg kick.
As Cole backs off Stevens throws a huge counter combo but Cole manages to avoid it all.
Cole lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.#TD2#
A momentary lapse in concentration from Cole enables Stevens to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cole manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Stevens's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Stevens trying to control the position from guard on top but Cole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cole looking for a sweep. Not yet Cole, not yet.
Cole keeping moving, preventing Stevens from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cole could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB#

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Stevens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cole can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2#
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Stevens escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cole gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stevens has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cole doesn't defend quickly enough and Stevens has managed to lock this one up! Can Cole escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Stevens on a fantastic submission victory.
