Kateb missing with knees to the body.
Kateb is trying to break the clinch but Mayfield is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mayfield is trying to drag Kateb to the mat but Kateb just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kateb wants a takedown.
We've been hearing reports that Mayfield has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.#T1#
Mayfield is pressed up against the cage. Kateb has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mayfield down to the mat. Mayfield avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Baker Mayfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Kateb.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mayfield accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
