The crowd cheers as Chandler lands an impressive looking overhand right. McNee doesn't seem phased though.
Chandler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McNee sprawls well. McNee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chandler gets slowly back to his feet.
McNee shoots in but Chandler avoids the takedown attempt easily.#TD2#
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chandler enables McNee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chandler manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McNee makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McNee tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Chandler goes for a double leg but McNee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McNee continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Chandler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters circle momentarily. McNee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chandler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McNee's waist but McNee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chandler off to one side.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McNee connects with a nice short shot to Chandler's temple.
