Jack Carver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carver lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Carver looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carver tries to clinch up.
Carver fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gercules has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Carver.
Carver misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick. #TD2#
Gercules gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gercules has hold of Carver's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Carver seems comfortable defending it but Gercules has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Carver is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Carver is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gercules couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Beliy tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Punk trying to control but Beliy is having none of it.
Punk wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Beliy has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there. #SUB2#
Punk has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Beliy is defending well but eventually Punk manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Beliy has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
