Mayer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chandler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chandler - that will leave a mark!

Chandler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mayer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Chandler. That one must have hurt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mayer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chandler - the referee stops the clock and Mayer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chandler. Mayer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This has been an exciting period of action!

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Roy looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cunningham can't hide his disappointment, as Roy celebrates the victory.

Thornton feints and as Burch raises his hands in defense, Thornton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Thornton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Burch is proving hard to escape from.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
