Jacman Posted April 9, 2018 Report Share Posted April 9, 2018 Impossible to call that fight a robbery. 1,2 and 5 were Rose for sure. 2 is the only of those three that was close, but I had it for Rose. 3 was JJ for sure, 4 was closer then 2 but I gave it to Rose as well. Rose showed a lot to me in that fight, going in I just thought the first win was kind of flukey due to JJ's having a hard time finding her timing due to Rose's length. I saw JJ posted something on Instagram where she showed the total fight stats which had her punch totals way above roses punches so I guess thats her argument which is a good one normally but in this fight Rose was far more effective with her shots so I think she clearly had and from most of what Ive seen most people think the same. But I dont get how anyone can call it a robbery even if the judges had went the other way with their decision. That being said I also think fight stats are bullshit. Paul Craig's standup is really really bad - at least he is aware that it needs (serious) work. He got very lucky. Ankalaev didn't fight smart going to ground in the last 10 seconds or whatever it was and i feel could easily have finished Paul throughout the fight. The only event I ever went to was Liddel's retirement fight, which also had Barry/CroCop and Condit/Mcdonald. I don't think I'll go again unless I get good lower bowl/floor seats.
