Telephone interview with Harald "the Viking Warrior" Fredricksen by Ricky Warner.

Ricky: Harald, Thanks for taking the time to do this interview.

Harald: No problem Ricky.

Ricky: You've just shocked all of 4 Kings with that impressive win over a highly rated challenger and former world title holder, Marcus "the Animal" Brandao. How are you feeling right now, and was that easier than you expected?

Harald: I'm rather relieved, truth be told. Brandao was a former world title holder and was, well, is known for his knockout power. I expected that he would be a very tough challenge for me. So when he checked my chin with that first punch I knew what he was bringing to the table. I knew that he was coming on strong and was very aggressive. He has power but restraint would have served him better in this fight. I proved that I too have power. So yes, it was much easier than I expected. Much easier.

Ricky: You have been taunting the guys here in 4 Kings in a manner that is totally like anything we have seen from you to date. What's he story with that?

Harald: I'm just having a bit of fun with the guys here. I have taken on the role of the heel to some extent. I am playing a role. Nothing more. It builds the tension up for the fight and makes the fans want to see more. Even if that is them wanting to see me knocked out or whatever, it is still getting them to tune in to the local TV broadcasts or going to the shows to watch the fight. All of that translates to more money for the promotion and ultimately for us fighters in the end. I mean no disrespect to the other fighters here or anywhere else, for that matter. Brandao was and remains a viable fighter and top contender in this organization. I am certain that we will meet again.

Ricky: What's next for you?

Harald: Well, first I am moving back to London. I have a new gym that I train in now. One owned by the former owner of the, now defunct, NEI promotion. So I will go there get settled in and rest up a bit from the big move. After that I will go right back to training and wait to see what Mr. Early decides to send my way. Perhaps a long overdue match with Ricardo Leroix? That fight has been talked about for a few years and in three different organizations now, so who knows?

Ricky: Alright. Thanks again for your time, Harald. Good luck to you.

Harald: Anytime, Ricky.

BEND OVER!!! That was meant for di ladies, Ganja doesn't get down like that. But anyways... Joining you live from his basement is your main man with the spray-tan! Four Kings took over Hard Knocks arena and made it the place to be for any MMA fans. With the lightweight title on the line and an incredible array of fights, it's no surprise we sold out. Ganja hasn't had fun like this in a while. My job obligates me to show up at every event but something in the drinks caused the women to crave Ganja even more that night... Enough of my daydreaming! You came here for a recap and I'm sent a check to deliver it! Let's review the fights, shall we?

Main Event:

Harald "The Viking Warrior" Friedricksen (8-1) Vs. Marcus "Animal" Brandao (8-0)

GET DOWN!!! This was definitely worth the wait! Both these guys are promotional newcomers looking to make a bold statement in Four Kings. One of them got to do that, the other... Not so much. Harald proved he wasn't just another blond-haired, blue- eyed Swedish hunk, this guy can bring it. He's known for his excellent Muay Thai skills along with great hair. Brandao wasn't given that name for shits and giggles, he truly is an animal. He's knocked out every opponent he's ever faced and was the champion in the previous org he fought for. This one was sure to be a bar burner, and it was! Both men came to knock each other out! As soon as the bell rang, the leather started flying! After a flashy exchange, Brandao came out with a nasty cut. A cut which marked the beginning of the end. After a few strikes thrown, Friedricksen knocked Brandao off his feet with a massive head kick. I have no idea where that came from, I didn't even see his feet move! Friedricksen waved Brandao back to his feet. I thought Brandao was getting a break but instead was met with another brutal head kick that knocked him unconscious. Word to the wise, don't bet your money on the undefeated knock out artist. I swear these guys are paid to make me look stupid.

Harald Friedricksen wins via KO (Head Kick) in 0:30 of round one.

Co-Main Event:

"repe" Reiska Pekka Retale (10-0) Vs. "Z Sub Machine" Tommy Tapout (7-2)

GANJA!!! This is it!!! The battle for the lightweight title! This one will go down in history, I'm sure. The reigning champion, Reiska Pekka Retale has been on an impressive win streak. He defeated Carlos Rahman for the tile and defended it respectfully. This guy is on fire, undefeated and everything on the line, he's sure to bring his A-game. His second challenger was not an easy one. Tommy Tapout, the former champion and an absolute monster on the ground. Tommy chocked and cranked his way to the title, a title he defended three times before losing it to Rahman in a huge upset. Ever since that loss he hasn't been the same, he lost two in a row but came back impressively, submitting Rahman. I felt this one would end up on the ground but I was sorely mistaken once more. Retale took the fight into the clinch early. The champ battered Tapout with a combination of every strike in his arsenal. He clubbed the challenger with his heavy punches and punished him with sharp knees and elbows. Tapout didn't even look like he wanted to fight back. He went for a takedown but once it was stuffed he just gave up. Retale rocked Tapout with a huge uppercut, almost knocking his head right off. Tapout was clearly out on his feet, Retale followed up with a crisp hook to the body, looking to set up another head shot. The champ cracked Tapout with a another uppercut sending him crashing to the mat. Retale follows up with more strikes and that's all she wrote! I'm happy I actually won this bet.

Reiska Pekka Retale wins via TKO (Punches) in 2:41 of round one.

"The Thriller" Esteban Miller (6-0) Vs. Gaspar "The Weight" Saroa (8-1)

BOW DOWN!!! The main card did not disappoint us tonight, folks. These two came to fight and fight they did. Esteban Miller is a Muay Thai machine, the only reason he trains the ground game is to get back on his feet. He would be met with an interesting opponent. Gaspar Saroa, the grappling specialist, and kryptonite to stand up fighters. Miller handled it with ease. He opened up in his usual barbaric fashion, peppering Sorsa with kicks and punches. Saroa was bewildered by the onslaught. He tries to strike back but was only met with more strikes. Miller continued to pound on Saroa for the first minute of the fight. Saroa kept everyone wondering why he didn't shoot for a takedown, did he honestly think he could trade shots with someone like Miller? All it took was a huge high kick to knock Saroa into next week, along with his ego. I honestly felt bad for him, he really thought he could bang it out. Let that be a warning to ground fighters, don't fucking stand and bang if you don't have the chin for it.

Esteban Miller wins via KO (Head Kick) in 1:53 of round one.

Project Ghetto (4-0) Vs. Alha "The Prince Of Arabia" Dhin (8-4)

GHETTO!!! This was the fight I was waiting for! The usual story of the hardened veteran taking on the young lion. The lion being the undefeated, well-rounded Project Ghetto. Ghetto has been on a rampage since he signed with Four Kings. Ghetto has knocked both opponents out, I think he needed a step up in competition like this. Alha Dhin has seen better days. The deadly grappler is a former title challenger but after falling to the champion he's really gone down hill. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan but his two fight win streak over some lower-ranked fighters just doesn't impress me. I don't think the old dog has it in him to fighter tougher competition anyway. I was genuinely surprised with what happened. Project took Dhin down! I was shocked for two reasons, he actually managed to take an experienced veteran down and also controlled him on the ground. Ghetto opened the round with some blistering leg kicks before drawing the fight into the clinch. Dhin decided to pull guard, looking to submit the youngster off his back but that didn't work out. Ghetto retained the top position and fought off any submission attempts or transitions Dhin might've had in mind. He effortlessly controlled a world class grappler, leaving us with our jaws hanging. Ghetto dominated the second round from the start. He took Dhin into the climb again but it was Ghetto who got the takedown. Ghetto controlled the ground game, easily advancing through Dhin's guard. Ghetto began his assault in the middle of the second, relentlessly trying to set up submissions. Dhin's experience paid off, he managed to fight them off but eventually crumbled. Dhin was absolutely exhausted, Ghetto advantage of the opportunity and isolated an arm. Dhin was forced to tap! Dhin! The guy who was feared in the division for his ground skills. Today we saw a great fighter fall but an even greater fighter rise.

Project Ghetto wins via Submission (Armbar) in 2:32 of round two.

Ginger Root (6-6) Vs. Jima Jammy (7-4)

FINALLY!!! I mean, unfortunately!!! This was Ginger Root's last fight with Four Kings and I'm proud to say he will be missed. That crazy drunk had some good times with Ganja outback, he used get so drunk he would run into traffic with his pants around his ankles trying to hump the speeding cars. Good times, anyways, he surely wanted to go out with a bang! His farewell party would not be an easy one. He was pitted against the well-rounded, hard-hitting Jimma Jammy. I know his name sounds ridiculous but trust me, that guy packs a punch. I was scared shitless within the first minute of the fight. Jammy came out swinging as soon as bell rang. He clocked Root with some huge shots while Root desperately tried to take him down. Jammy landed a sharp left-right combo that knocked Root to the canvas. Jammy followed up with some ground and pound but couldn't finish Root. Despite Jammy continuing to rain down shots, Root recovered and looked for submissions of his own. Root looked to improve his position while dealing with the heavy fire being delivered from the top, he tried for a guillotine but couldn't lock it. Root refused to give up! He switched over to his side and caught Jammy in an armbar. Jammy tried to keep his hands clasped together but Root broke his grip and forced the tap. Good for you buddy! Maybe now he can actually get lucky with some of those semis he chases down.

Ginger Root wins via Submission (Armbar) in 4:52 round one.

Undercard:

Dimas "The Surprise" Boykiy (5-3) Vs. Shawn "JoJo" Geissen (5-2)

Dimas Boykiy wins via KO (Head Kick) in 0:23 of round one.

Andrzej Gajewski (6-1) Vs. Vito "Italiano" Ferrari (5-3)

Andrzej wins via Unanimous Decision.

"The Freak" Nils Korst (2-1) Vs. Pena "the beast" Pulkkinen (7-3)

Nils Korst wins via KO (Strikes) in 0:19 of round two.

"The Bad Boy Of Figureskat" Chez Michaels (4-5) Vs. "Picasso" Kris Jakua (5-3)

Chez Micheals wins via KO (Punch) in 1:22 of round one.

"Ironman" Karl Krypton Ii (5-0) Vs. "Skeletor" Kaz Warren (1-2)

Karl Krypton wins via Submission (Armbar) in 3:58 of round one.

That's mi got left. I'm getting ready to confront K-Rad once and for all. I'm sitting of his couch waiting for the bastard to come home. We'll see who gets the last laugh. Keep ya lungs full and ya minds open. Ganja out...

Ladies and Gentleman, today we will be sitting down with one of the best if not the best big man in 4 Kings Amsterdam, none other that the 4 King's HW tournament finalist "Captain America" Steve Rogers!

Interviewer: It is an honor to have you here, Mr. Rogers.

Rogers: Thanks man, its also an honor to get invited here. though, i think that your introduction is quite wrong, honestly. im the best HW in 4 Kings. period. no need for that "one of the best" and shit like that.

Interviewer: Im sorry, Mr. Rogers. i just thought that since you are still not the champ, and there are hell of a lot tough heavyweights in 4 Kings, its difficult to determine who is the best, really.

Rogers: Haha, Im just joking, man. i have huge respect for the big guys out there, especially the reigning champ. and i gotta agree with you there, the competition is really fierce at HW division,in fact that's one of the reasons why i joined this org, besides having the classiest org owner in Mr. Dee Early. *ahem(hoping to get a nice under the table bonus from Mr. Dee)

Interviewer: Your previous fight was no doubt the toughest fight in your career so far, against the hard hitting Ricardo Leroix. can you give us your thoughts on that fight?

Rogers: I thought that it would be fireworks for sure, with 2 top contenders facing off against each other. that matchup is very interesting since its a classic stand up battle between a muay thai fighter and a boxer. he came out very aggressive, looking to put the pressure on me. however, that gave me the chance to pick my shots carefully and wear him down with some brutal leg and body kicks. late in the first round, i noticed that he is already exhausted and i started to pick up my pace. then, just seconds before the 1st round ended, i saw an opening and landed a combination which knocks him unconscious. there, job done.

Interviewer: Your next fight is for the title and also for the finals of the HW tourney against the reigning champ, Carlos Quintana. can you tell us about that upcoming fight?

Rogers: Carlos Quintana, man. that guy is a serious threat to me honestly. undefeated, with all wins coming via stoppages. like i said earlier i have a huge respect for that guy. but he is in my way of being the champ and winning the tournament so i think i need to put an end to that undefeated win streak, via KO by anything that lands to his chin.

Interviewer: Im sure Carlos Quintana would be watching this. ohh, looks like we are already running out of time, any last remarks Mr. Rogers?

Rogers: I would like to thank my manager Big Boss for hiring me since being a free agent. i was on the verge of going on a vacation to Bahamas but he saw my potential and hired me. to Dee Early for signing me to 4 Kings and taking good care of me, even letting me ride his private jet on my fights! and i would also like to thank all of my previous opponents who i KTFO'ed out, sorry for the beating i have given to all of you, its just part of my job.

Interviewer: Thanks for your time Mr. Rogers and we here hope to have you again with the championship belt!

GAZA FOREVER!!! It's ya boy, coming to you live from mi girlfriend's house. What? You think Ganja can't get a girlfriend? Well I did, and she's fucking banging! Enough about Ganja's love life. Four Kings sold every seat at the Hard Knocks arena for one of the best shows we've had yet. I know I say that a lot but Four Kings keeps outdoing itself. I knew things would skyrocket once I signed on as your main analyst and ganja dealer. The Cruiserweight title was on the line tonight, and it did not disappoint. The fan have been waiting for the matchup and they finally got it. The main card and undercard took it home. Almost every fight didn't go the distance, making my job easier.

Main Event:

"Mr. Hammerstorm" Tyler Richards (10-2) Vs. Gabriel Salwa (6-0)

HOLY SHIT!!! Ganja's been waiting for this one! The Cruiserweight division is stacked with talent here at Four Kings, yet no man has been able to defeat our champion after he captured the belt. Tyler Richards has defended his title three times and is still going strong. This guy hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, no one has gotten close to defeating him. His wrestling-based attack is something to be feared. Salwa is also no laughing matter. He brings a deadly striking game to every fight, a tactic which has obviously paid off. Salwa has knocked out every opponent leading up to his Four Kings debut. Even then, he battered Jima Jamm for three rounds in a lop-sided decision. These two were sure to bring fireworks to the main event, and that's exactly what they did. This one was a razor-thin decision. Both fighters fought to their best of their abilities, something I haven't seen in a while. This one was a war! Salwa battered the champion with an array of strikes, looking to knock him unconscious. The challenger used everything in his arsenal but couldn't seem to land flush, giving Richards the advantage. As Salwa fired away his wide, looping punches, Richards countered with takedowns and look to take the fight to the canvas. Once on the ground, Richards dropped down his legendary ground and pound on his opponent, battling for control while trying to pound him into the ground. It was obvious Salwa was no match for Richards on the ground but he surprised everyone by holding his own. The ground made the difference in this fight. Salwa was dominating the stand up, even making the champ look foolish. If Salwa wouldn've defended those takedowns, we would probably have a new champion. I'm not taking anything away from Richards though, he found a way to win like a true champion should. This close decision only means one thing, rematch! Make it happen!

Tyler Richards wins via Unanimous Decision.

Co-Main Event:

Liha Tuukka (6-1) Vs. Wolverine "Admantium jaw" Warpath (5-0)

SWEET JESUS! There's nothing like a heavyweight fight in the main card to get the fans all filed up. It certainly had my nipples hard... Anyways, these two were destined to fight each other sooner or later. Both these guys has been demolishing every fighter placed in front of them, solidifying their status as legit prospects in the division. Warpath recently made his Four Kings debut in a very impressive fashion. He knocked out his opponent in three minutes and looked hungry for more. Warpath brings a vicious boxing game to the table, something that could present problems for Tuukka. Tuukka has also been on a roll lately. The wrestling phenom has ever improving standup and looks to set up his takedowns with power punches. It was obvious this one wouldn't last the distance and that it did not. It was a ground battle from the start, with Tuukka dominating every second. He took Warpath down early and kept him there for the entire time. Tuukka relentlessly work his famous ground and pound, looking to soften up his hardy opponent. Warpath did little except trying to regain a safer position and try the occasional takedown. He was merely trying to survive and survive he did. For the first round anyway. Warpath opened up with a sloppy exchange before takedown again. He looked completely exhausted. Tuukka quickly passed his guard and looked for a Kimura from side control, Warpath surprisingly defended. After giving up on the submissions, Tuukka moved into full mount almost at will and continued to rain shots on his opponent. Tuukka rocked Warpath with a flurry of hammer fists, sending him on the retreat. Tuukka followed up with another huge strike that forced Warpath to turn his back in pain. Tuukka continued to pound on his opponent until the ref stopped the fight. Holy Shit!

Liha Tuukka wins via TKO (Strikes) in 2:32 of round two.

Main Card:

Carlos "The Rock" Rahman (7-3) Vs. Stefan "Hast Du'n Problem?" Hentschel (6-1)

WOOOOO!!! There's nothing like two scrappy lightweights going at it. Not just ordinary lightweights, though. We saw the former champion, Carlos Rahman take on Stefan Hentschel, a battle that decides who gets a shot at the title. Carlos Rahman has been there before, his fast hands and ability to brush of submissions made him an unstoppable force here at Four Kings. He met his match when the current champion out-grappled him for five rounds and dethroned him. He also suffered a setback loss but is hungry and looking to get a title shot. Hentschel brought a challenge to the former champion. The well-rounded German also fought the reigning champ but was overwhelmed. No doubt either men want another shot at the title. Hentschel came out in his usual freight train fashion and immediately pressed Rahman against the cage. Hentschel took the fight to the ground, looking to put his superior grappling to work. Henstchel fought for a dominant position on the ground but Rahman proved to be a challenge. Hentschel pushed on with a flurry of submissions that had Rahman scrambling under his opponent. Rahman did fight back with submissions of his own however. Both fighters put on an excellent display but Hentschel clearly took the round with his aggression and control. Carlos Rahman evidently caught a second wind during the interval and came out fighting! He landed his glancing punches while stuffing every takedown Hentschel attempted. Rahman has caught with a monster combination that had him out on his feet but he pushed through the pain. He caught Henstchel with a huge right hook that knocked him out cold. Rahman defiantly has the heart of a champion, I can't wait for the rematch.

Carlos Rahman wins via KO (Punch) in 3:31 of round two.

Igor "The Pollock" Ignatowski (7-4) Vs. "Holy" James Frac (9-8)

GANJA!!! What a fight! These lightweights never fail to disappoint. While these two may be on the lower end of the rankings, they still put on a show. Ignatowski bright a deadly Boxing/BJJ game that neutralized Frac's BJJ onslaught. James Frac is a well-known veteran who didn't live up to his potential. This guy might be fighting for his job after two losses in a row. In other words, this one was guaranteed to be a bar burner and that it was. Ignatowski didn't fail to disappoint by lunging at his opponent as soon as the bell rung. He caught Frac with a sharp right hand that opened a huge gash. Frac countered with a huge takedown that landed him in Ignatowski's guard. From then on it was all Frac, he worked furiously trying to set up his deadly submissions. Both men were evenly matched on the ground, Ignatowski was able to defend all the submission attempts. "The Pollock" even reverse a foot lock and landed in Frac's guard. This was towards the end of the first, so he didn't have time to do much damage. Frac took the first round due to his aggression and control on the canvas. The second round went in a total different direction. Ignatowski came out swinging yet again but this time he was able to defend Frac's takedown attempts. He landed vicious punches to the veteran's head that have him back pedaling. Frac got caught with a monster uppercut that sent him to the canvas in a heap. Ignatowski rained down unanswered strikes until the ref had choice but to stop the bout. What a comeback!

Ivory Ignatowski wins via TKO (Strikes) in 0:17 of round two.

Krystian "Wojna" Wojnasiewicz (4-0) Vs. "Ask Again" Ben Askren (6-2)

CELEBRATION!!! What a way to he the night started. The first fight on the card is always an indicator on how the rest of the night will play out. This one was a great heads-up! Wojnasiewicz is a promotional newcomer who happens to be a young, well-rounded, stud. Four Kings is always looking for studs. Ben Askren is no stranger to the age and has faced some one the best Four Kings has to offer. Both these guys are young, they have time to grow but for now, someone must be put to sleep! Wojnasiewicz has knocks out every man he's face and I predicted this fate would also fall on Askren. Askren however proved me wrong yet again. Wojnasiewicz was too much for Askren, who couldn't get the takedowns going. Even when he did, his opponent proved to be well prepared for the ground game. Wojnasiewicz fought back with his deadly stand up and dominated Askren for the entirety of the fight. He out-struck the grappler and was only taken down a few times. Not bad for someone making their debut in the big leagues.

Krystian Wojnasiewicz wins via Unanimous Decision.

Prelims:

Stefan "Skyscraper" Struve (3-1) Vs. "The Macedonian Mauler" Icus Mantovo (4-0)

Stefan Struve wins via Submission (Arm Triangle) in 1:21 of round two.

Timofey "Beast" Boyko (4-2-1) Vs. "Grumpy" Richard Dawn (7-6)

Timofey Boyko wins via Unanimous Decision.

Vladislav Munchkin (2-1) Vs. Lou Haggen (7-6)

Vladislav Munchkin wins via TKO (Strikes) in 1:58 of round one.

Mason "Action" Jackson (5-3) Vs. Antonio Palhares (2-2)

Mason Jackson wins via KO (Punch) in 1:28 of round one.

Tyler Durden (1-2) Vs. Jose "Lightning" Barboza (3-3)

Tyler Durden wins via KO (Punch) in 1:35 of round three.

That's all mi got, boy. Join me here next time to witness the Heavyweight Tournament final. Keep ya lungs full and ya minds open. Ganja out...

4K.39 : HW Tourney Final! PREVIEW

Excitement time at 4K as the pants wettingly excellent heavyweight tournament comes to a close and sees Quintana and Rogers shaping up for the right to claim champion status in the biggest and baddest division Amsterdam has to offer. Plenty stood up for the challenge but many of those have fallen and now only 2 remain. This is going to be a phenomenal night of action and one which will be talked about around the e-water coolers for some time. Over 5000 fans are preparing to run amok throughout the Beer Garden so make sure you're one and purchase tickets early as this is guaranteed to sell out! There's plenty of other talented fighters making an appearance on the night so let's get down to a quick look at the top 5 fights on the card:

"The Prodigy" Jima Jamm vs. Pentti "Pena" Ali

Cruiserweight

A couple of cruiserweights with mixed records get the party that is the main card started as both "The Prodigy" Jamm and "Pena" Ali look to improve their current form. Jamm has shown himself to be a highly competent kickboxer and it will be fun to see him pit his feet and elbows against the non-stop boxing ferocity of Ali as the latter looks to notch up another KO win. Given his absolutely appalling energy levels I am thinking "Pena" must be going for an all-or-nothing approach which will hopefully see him score the early KO because if not, he's F'd in the A. Jamm, despite being slightly smaller, has a full tank of gas and I imagine he is going to be just too spritely for his opponent and I expect to see him ducking in and out and wearing down Ali's cardio before finishing with a big head kick KO.

Ed Gein vs. Bruce Becker

Middleweight

Impressive up-and-comer Gein is taking on the highly experienced Becker in a bout which is going to be determined by the intelligence of each man's game plan. Gein has a well rounded skillset, similar to Becker's apart from Becker's outstanding wrestling so whether or not they stand and bang or hit the mat rolling it should be fairly evenly matched up. With both men coming off losses in their recent appearances there's plenty of pride on the line tonight and I am expecting this fairly unassuming fight to surprise a lot of fans with it's explosiveness. It is difficult to predict which man has the edge here but Gein has shown some very heavy hands for a man who is not famous for his striking so I think this may just tip the scales in his favour so pencil me in for a Gein KO win.

"Great Aristotle" Shaquille Oneal vs. Karol "Finisher" Cropp

Heavyweight

Just to give you a taste of what is in store we have a heavyweight sampler featuring "Great Aristotle" Oneal and "Finished" Cropp as the two big boys go toe-to-toe in a fight you just can't expect to last very long. Win or lose, the longest Oneal has been seen in a cage is 5 seconds into round 2 and with "Finisher" being undefeated after 4 appearances, his most recent being the first to make it past the 2nd minute of round 1, you can bet your sweet arse these two men are going to make some sparks fly. Oneal Is the bigger man but Cropp is slightly better trained, particularly in the jitsu, although I would expect this fight to take place standing. With Cropp's previous submission wins coming to white belts with lack lustre wrestling I think the pedigree of "Great Aristotle" should prove to be his greatest challenge yet and I also favour Oneal's style of heavy handed brawling so I am going to tip him to claim the knock out tonight.

Zorba "Minotaur" The Greek vs. Kane "Killa" Kilburn

Middleweight. Co-Main Event!

"Minotaur" The Greek is a man who needs different sized trunks for nearly every fight as one week he has a belt to keep them up and the next he doesn't. His tumultuous relationship with the middleweight championship has led him to tonight's co-main event where he faces "Killa" Kilburn a man who shows great cardio and smarts with most of his fights going the distance. "Minotaur" will be looking to use his big boxing to nullify Kilburn's Thai styles, something he may find easier given his 13cm height advantage which should work some to take a bit of sting off of Kilburn's kicks. With neither man being too keen to go to ground previously you would imagine that The Greek's extra 20lbs of weight, coupled with that height, will make his punches highly dangerous for Kilburn and he'll require every ounce of intelligence to last the whole 15 minutes against a man who has won all his fights via KO. I may be a doubting Debbie but I don't think Kilburn has what it takes and I am backing The Greek to score a KO win.

Carlos "Bam Bam" Quintana vs. "Captain America" Steve Rogers

Heavyweight. Main Event TITLE FIGHT!

Goddamn this is a lot of talent to fit into one cage. Despite being quite young both "Bam Bam" Quintana and "Captain America" Rogers are outrageously skilled combatants. Both men are currently on flights inbound for the event but they should hit the cage with equal energy levels so no excuses there as the two men prepare to drop bombs with a combined record of 11 KOs from 14 total wins between the two of them. This is a fight which is going to be an instant classic as both men have such a level of hype and mystique surrounding them that anything they do ends up being crapped on about at length on MMA forums worldwide. Size wise, they're of equal height but Quintana has a staunch 40lbs on his opponent and that weight is going to come in handy as Rogers has the slight standing advantage thanks to some world class Thai boxing. Quintana for his part has the potential to mix things up and use his superior wrestling and jitsu, accompanied by his weight, to get this to the floor but given his previous appearances and general fight mentality I wouldn't expect it to happen. A very tough fight to call but I think Quintana has what it takes as I have seen him perform many times in the past and am quite familiar with his management team and fight club so my prediction is that "Bam Bam" becomes the heavyweight champion due to knock out victory!

And that's all she wrote boys and girls! Make sure you don't miss any of the action and shuffle your arse into The Beer Garden early to avoid disappointment! I'm K-Rad and I am out of here!

nice preview as always, good sir. though i will try my best to make your main event's prediction wrong! :) good luck tomorrow to all of the fighters on the card.

I'm looking forward to this fight, if for nothing else than to see what Bam Bam is really made of. He hasn't really been tested yet, and all his previous wins will mean nothing if he can't take any heat. That being said, Carlos has informed us that he's ready and "that he isn't going out like a punk". I'm pretty sure that's a good thing. I think.

im also interested to see how rogers will fare against a very tough opponent. being an FA pickup i am still trying to figure out his potentials. one thing im sure is, whoever wins this fight is truly rightful to be crowned a 'king'.

Both men are top notch and I don't expect this to be the first time they meet. Quintana gets my moneys though because I am familiar with his OC times whereas Rogers is an unknown to me.

4 Kings 39: Post-Fight Press Conference: Team Disney

Hello 4K fans, we're reporting live from Amsterdam's Beer Garden interview station, for the obligatory post-fight recap of the Four Kings Heavyweight Tourney. Our interview with Carlos Quintana and Team Disney is already in progress.

Dead Disney: Carlos will not be here to join this interview. He's currently receiving stitches and treatment for dehydration at Leiden University Medical Center. He did want me tell you all that he's extremely disappointed in his performance but expects to fight his way back to title contention soon.

I have time for a couple of questions only.**motions to a sea of reporters** You, with the Justin Bieber pompadour….

Female Reporter: My name is Cortina Bergans and this isn't a pompadour, it's a three-hundred dollar French faux hawk.

D. Disney: Is that your question?

C. Bergans: No, I wanted to ask you…

D. Disney: Next question please! **points** You..

Random Reporter: Do you think the fight would have ended in a win for Carlos had it not been for the cuts?

D. Disney: **smirks and shakes head**

No, absolutely not. Let's go ahead and call it a complete beatdown; Carlos and I have accepted it for that. We were soundly defeated from outside range, inside range and from clinch. Tip your hat to Steve Rogers and move on is all we can do for now. These things happen in pro MMA, it's the psyche of the beast. Okay, last question…

Random Reporter: After a soul crushing defeat like this, where do you go from here?

D. Disney: *chuckles* Damn, that's a hardcore question. I hate to give you the "We'll have to look at the footage and see what's what", but that's what I gotta give you, guy. We'll be back, and we'll be improved is all I can tell you for now. Thanks, folks.

*rises and takes leave*

Congrats for the new HW champ Mr. Rogers. I have a feeling these two will be locking horns again sooner than later.

FEEL DI RHYTHIM!!! Sorry for di lateness, folks. Ganja's been a bit busy with work. By work I mean getting so high I forgot my aunt's birthday was yesterday. I ended up running three miles to her house and handing a last minute gift. She didn't complain, a pound of herb and a diamond necklace are top-quality gifts in my opinion. Anyways, he have done it! The heavyweight final is finally here! Over the last few weeks, Four Kings has held a electrifying tournament that has seen fighters rise and fall. With the $100,000 dollar prize, it was obvious this one would be fire works. A sold out Beer Garden was the place to be, or at your house watching it on TV, whatever floats your boat. This arena has an ironic name for being in the capital of ganja here in Europe. Nonetheless, it was something to watch. Carlos Quintana, the hard-hitting, overweight striker who knocked out Uche Mohammed to win the heavyweight crown. Steve Rogers, the self proclaimed "American Hero", a Muay Thai machine who climb up the heavyweight rankings by knocking every opponent out. This is the type of match that gets Ganja excited! Two strikers battling for the heavyweight crown, it's like Ganja in a medicinal marijuana store. But please, you didn't come here to read my senseless rambling. You came for a recap and if you just wait a fucking second, you'll get one. Let's review the fights, shall we?

Main Event:

"Captain America" Steve Rogers (8-1) Vs. Carlos "Bam Bam" Quintana (6-0)

WAR!!! This is exactly what I'm talking about. This isn't a bunch of anaemic 18-year olds brawling for some ridiculous amount of money. This is war, for the glory and the Four Kings gold. You also win a date with Ganja with every title belt won. These guys are pretty much the same. Rogers focused on a Muay Thai style and Carlos Quintana has a well-rounded game but they both refuse to go down to the ground! It's always exciting for the fans. Sadly for Quintana, his attack was completely neutralised. Rogers clinch from the start of the fight and refused to let go. He kept the champion pressed up against the cage as he battered him with punches. Quintana wasn't able to fight back, Rogers' relentless pace kept him at bay. "Bam Bam" tried a few punches of his own but they proved to be useless. I've never seen someone dominate Quintana like that. Rogers opened up a huge gash early on and kept hammering the cut. Quintana proved to have the champion spirit as he fought back defensively and survive the brutal first round. Rogers easily took the first and continue his onslaught in the second. Rogers came out a aggressive a he did in the first and quickly engaged the battered champion. He out-struck the superior striker and closed the distance once more. He hammered Quintana for a few moments before the doctor was called in by the ref. I swear I saw him flinch at the sight of Quintana's horrific cut. He had no choice but to stop the bout, crowing a new champion. I think a rematch may be in order, Quintana could've recovered but Rogers would've got the better of him. I'd love to see these two go at it again, but right now Rogers has to pick what restaurant to take me to. He needs to keep in mind that I love Chinese food.

Steve Rogers wins via TKO (Cut) in 1:13 of round two.

Co-Main Event:

Kane "Killa" Kilburn (9-4) Vs. Zorba "Minotaur" The Greek (9-5)

WOOO!!! There's nothing like a little welterweight action to warmup the crowd. It was yet another clinch battle, only this one focused on actual Muay Thai. Kane Kilburn shocked me and the rest of the arena with his impressive performance against the hard-hitting former champion. The young up and comer was pitted against, well, a monster. Zorba The Greek has way more experience over world-class opponents and definitely has the advantage in his striking, especially those deadly hands. Kilburn played it cool however, he refused to strike with the superior puncher. Kilburn executed his gameplay perfectly. He tied up The Greek and unleashed his Muay Thai arsenal. It's be a while since if seen a fighter have such prowess in the fine art of eight limbs. He showered The Greek with elbows and knees that had him ducking for cover. The Greek didn't even look like he wanted to fight, he tried a few takedowns but once those failed, he gave up hope. Kilbun continued his domination through the first round. The second was no different however, Kilburn refused to let go. He engaged in another tight Thai clinch and continued to batter The Greek, who this point turned into a punching bag. Kilburn kept his pressure for three minutes before The Greek started to crumble. Kilburn rocked with a beautiful knee before sending a second one to his jaw. When the ref stepped in, Zorba didn't seem hurt but he was glad it was over. Slain by a youngster, where has this world gone?

Kane Kilburn wins via TKO (Knees) in 3:48 of round two.

Karol "Finisher" Cropp (4-0) Vs. "Great Aristotle" Shaquille Oneal (4-2)

PON DI GAZA!!! Feels good to prepare the crowd for the up coming action with these two freaks. These heavy-set mother fuckers are always bringing the fight, no matter who the opponent is. Karol Cropp is an undefeated rising heavyweight who unfortunately wasn't featured in the tournament. Cropp is making his transition from a local org and was clearly looking to make a statement here in Four Kings. Oneal is not new to the Four Kings cage. He was in the quarter finals of the tournament but was knocked out in the first round (literary). Cropp was born to finish fights, he's an excellent boxer and has a brown belt in BJJ for some reason. This guy can finish it wherever he goes. Oneal's standup is not something to be taken lightly either. He's got great boxing and has polished his Muay Thai recently. Cropp has the advantage on the ground but I predicted the fight wouldn't reach the canvas. Finally! I was right! The first round was a wonderful back and forth slugfest. This is what the heavyweight division is truly about. Both fighters landed great shots, mixing up their punches and kicks, looking to out-work each other. Cropp was a bit more technical with his shots, his strikes landed flush while Oneal's were wide and sloppy. Oneal can only blame himself, his punches were too wide and swung too hard. Cropp dropped Oneal early in the first with a shot that marked the beginning of the end. Cropp followed his stunned opponent into half guard and unloaded vicious elbows. Crop posture up and continued to rain down shots on his defenceless opponent. The red was forced to stop the fight, Oneal didn't seem angry about the stoppage, he knows that shit pissed him off. Talk about a statement though, Cropp has made it clear he belongs in Four Kings.

Karol Cropp wins via TKO (Strikes) in 0:38 of round two.

Ed Gein (5-1) Vs. Bruce Becker (11-5)

WELTER!!! Holy shiznit! We seem to be having a pattern between the fights. Heavy, Welter, Heavy, Welter. It's a very strange line up with strange fighters. Most of these guys are pretty young and are already such beasts. These two are no exception, to a certain point. Neither man is particularly gifted at any martial art used in MMA but neither had a weakness. Well, if they faced a higher ranked fighter, they would, but tonight wasn't the case. Two well-rounded welterweights going at it! From the start this one was destined to be fireworks. After a quick exchange between the two, Ed Gein was dropped by a huge high kick that almost took his head off. Gein battled on to land a flush hook followed by a jab to send Becker back pedaling in distress. Gein dropped Becker with a lovely left but the stubborn bastard got back up. The round finished out with some back and forth action, with Gein coming out on top (no homo). The second round started off with a quick exchange before Gein rocked Becker with a monster combo. Becker regained his senses for a few moments before Gein landed a brutal uppercut that knocked Becker out cold! Holy shit!

Ed Gein wins via KO (Punch) in 1:21 of round two.

"The Prodigy" Jima Jamm (5-1) Vs. Pentti "Pena" Ali (8-9)

JAM OUT! We started off the main card with this exciting, but short Cruiserweight bout. The well known former title challenger, Jima Jamm would be putting his notorious striking on display against the not-so well known, Pentti Ali. Both these guys have seen better days but let's be real. They desperately need a win to keep their job. I just love who these type of fights are always placed at the start of the main card. A knockout or submission is bound to happen! Jima Jamm came out like a bull on crack, he always does. He didn't need to feel his opponent out and started throwing bombs right away. Ali tried to come back some sloppy counter punches that didn't find their mark. Jamm dropped Ali with a stiff uppercut that had the red ready to stop the fight. Jamm waved Ali back to his feet to keep the action going. Ali get's floored by a sharp hook that drops him on his face. Jamm proved who wanted to keep his job more, or more like who didn't deserve to get fired. I kinda feel bad for Ali, the image of him lying face down, ass up will forever live on.

Jimma Jam wins via KO (Punch) in 0:36 of round one.

Prelims:

"The Big Bad Mofo" Brock Johnson (6-3) Vs. Patrick "Alosh" Czarnowski (5-4)

Brock Johnson wins via KO (Strikes) in 3:48 of round three.

Van Der Weed (6-3) Vs. Rudolf "Apfel" Strudel (5-3)

Van Der Weed wins via Unanimous Decision.

Pulla Sorsa (4-3) Vs. Nick Bowers (2-2)

Pulla Sorsa wins via TKO (Kick and Punches) in 1:18 of round three.

"Staff Sgt." Max Fightmaster (3-1) Vs. Mike "Tygrys" Tayson (3-4)

Mac Fightmaster wins via TKO (Strikes) in 3:38 of round three.

Neo "Nero" Angin (4-4) Vs. Otou "Rancer" Hek (7-8)

Neo Angin wins via Unanimous Decision.

That be all di fights, mon. I have to get back to the party to cut the birthday cake. I just hope a stripper doesn't pop out this time. Keep your lungs full and your minds open. Ganja out...
