Alfred
When looking for an org look for an org that has been going for a while or at least has a good few weeks of events booked, a decent satisfaction rating, is suitable for your fighters ID (i.e don't join an open ID org with your new creation), When offered a contract make sure that the inactivity period isn't too long (30 days is max for me), the contract length is ok (not one that ends in december 2018. I usually tally up a month per fight offered) and that its not for too many fights. As a new creation you're going to be offered shitty contracts so don't accept ones for 5 or 6 fights. 3 is my usual unless I trust the org. This is just my personal preference though and might be contrary to what other's think.
Columbo
This is only my opinion, formed by my experience, but I'd say the best way to ENJOY the game is to make or join a new alliance with four or five other players who started playing at the same time. This way, if you share everything you learn, you can work out the game together as a team. 2
Monsieur.Camara
Read the writing under the sliders so you can properly learn them. I was very lucky to have a great mentor and he insisted on me not just following the templates, but to properly read the sliders memos and study fights. He gave me slider exercises to practice and I spent many hours reading not just my fights but random fights. We also analysed many fights, specially when we lost. Learning sliders and studying the text on fights is the most important thing in this game. I would list the following as top 3: 1) Get a good mentor 2) Learn sliders 3) Get into a good alliance 3)
AlexHY21
Does anybody know what each description matches, in terms of number 1-150, each hidden. For example, heavy handed matches X?
Monsieur.Camara
Ohhh another great advice (imo): Never, ever, fall is love with a fighter. Cut them when their time comes.
TPowell
1. Start with 25 year olds in ID restricted orgs 2. Before you ever click create, it should take you 15-20 minutes at least to figure out the point distro for your new fighter. Think long and hard (hint: 25 year olds are fine to spread points somewhat thin since you aren't worried about them hitting the peak anyway)
