Mooncutter
If you've mastered throwing elbows standing up, you got some good elbows on the ground as well. A great additiion to the game would be to add some GnP effectiveness if a guy got good elbows from the clinch. Ocassionally, I'd like to see an elbow here and there from striking position as well, but that would take more work to implement. Just look at DARREN TILL, he's got maybe the best elbows in MMA from striking position, and NASTY elbows from sidemount and half guard as well. They do overlap, just not 100%.

lotos
Yep. The same could be applied to knees. At least I assume so...maybe being good at knees in the clinch, doesn't mean one is good at knees from side control? Certainly elbows from above and from the back makes great sense. Warwynd
I don't think I have ever seen anyone throw knees on the ground in this game. Just strikes, hammer fists, and elbows. Knees to the body should definitely be included.

Seems like they were just slapped on after everything else was already in place. They should either be redone in some other form or better integrated overall in the fight engine by doing things like what you suggested here. Yes, this makes sense. It also makes sense from standing position, like a flying knee here and there.

Knees should affect GnP from sidemount for example. Knees to the ribs are nasty from that position.
