I knew someone who had a double hernia and my first thought was that it's a hernia inside of another hernia (which sounds excrutiating)... but it is in fact just two simultaneous hernias. The doctors told me that if I didnt get it operated on it could somewhat heal itself but would always come back... Living in the good ol USA with no bennies I didnt get the operation but it eventually went away so I could work again. If it comes back hopefully i'll have insurance this time around to take care of it but I think depending on the type of hernia and if you can afford it or not you really should get it taken care of.
