Guest Posted April 24, 2016 Report Share Posted April 24, 2016 ISLAND FC 23 Preview again from the Hard Knocks arena ,we will start to turn the screw now, events are pilling up realy fast and the quality is realy improving now...JJ went to work on hes skills and updated our company logo....let us know what you guys think about it.....our card will be headed by our bantamweight champion trying to defend hes belt against very tough oposition...the rest of the card doesnt look bad neither ,in special attention to the promotion debut of Prostate Orgasm 5-0 .....for those who dont know yet Joe Snitsky is our new staff ,just like us , he will be here to help you guys and us, hes doing a great job so far....we belive we have the right recepie for an eventfull and entretaining island season and the plan is to bring back that joy season after season....now the "chedar": 135 lbs TITLE Miesha Tate v Royce Disgracie The afrodite champion is back to defend hes belt against a top contender in Royce Disgracie...Miesha is one of the longest ruling champion in the promotion, not the most active ,must be said, but he overcame every chalange trown hes way, even as the underdog so thumbs up for him ,but this is by far hes toughest oponent to date....Miesh is an exelent submission fighter with a good chin and takedowns.....when the fight eventualy hits the matt hes smoth as silk with hes transitions and submissions, he has hes work cut off here ,Royce prefers to stand and use hes exelente boxing ,either from the outside or in the clinch ,very hard to take down and never gives up he realy has the heart of a warrior...we just need to see how he reacts to the big stage , will he thrive or will he crumble?...here's the milion dollar question.... Prediction:Royce Disgracie Decision 170 lbs Carlos Diego Ferreira v Heimdal The Destoryer This two fighters have been around since the early stages of the season ,their recods are the same and they have a good amount of time spend in the gym so,well prepared for this i assume....Carlos game has no secrets he will try to break your arm or choke you out, how is going to do that against Heimdal is a diferent matter ...Heimdal two losses came on hes last two fights against former champions , he got beaten fair and square but thoses losses might have come for a good reason ,he looks revitalized and in great shape....this fight will go to the clinch where he holds clear advantage ,it all depends in wheter Carlos can take him down or not, if he manages to do it, it will be anaconda style for sure.... Predicton:Heimdal The Destoryer by TKO 135 lbs Ken Garrison v Winston Roscoe in this fight the form is with Ken hes 3 wins on a row make him the favourite for this contest he will defenitly try to go for a wizzard like submission ....he likes to trow those hips up and he does it at lightning speed ,very onortodox....but one punch can can change everything and Wiston has some real knockout power in those hands and holds the advantage if he manages to stay outside in a striking disstance ...... Prediction:Ken Garrison 135 lbs Prostate Orgasm v Mark Corden Well Prostate will make hes promotion debut here and the matchmakers werent kind with him....he has a very tuff matchup with Mark ,both fighters with well match up skills but Mark looks to have much better phisycals ....the form is on Prostate side hes been pulvurizing oponents in the QFC and we realy think he is the real deal,to prove that he will have to come trough this.....Corden strenght and condition could play a factor if this fight drags into the third.... Prediction: Prostate Orgasm by Submission 155 lbs Alex De Nascimento v Martin Luther King Jr I will be very surprized if Nascimento wins this one , he a 19 year old that lost hes 4 last fights and hes moral levels are not great ....i think Martin will score a quick submission win ,hes in exelent form and i think hes speed will be a major factor in this fight....SPEED..... Prediction:Martin Luther King Jr by Submission 155 lbs Anthony Graham v Joseph Benavidez Joseph has very little chances on papper specialy now since he became a free agent hes life style has changed, and i have my doubts that hes been doing any kind of training.....i expect Graham to use hes MT clinch ,very agressivly and focusing on attacking the body....Joseph looks in very bad fighting shape and i guess he has a lot of soft tissue ,specialy around hes ribcage..... Prediction:Anthony Graham by TKO 155 lbs Sun Lee v Tony Stevenson Sun Lee has been in a bad period of form and Tony can capitalize on that , Tony is a very complete fighter and is still unbeaten in is short mma professional carreer...the problem is he normaly finishes hes oponents by submission and i dont think he will be able to do that against Sun Lee in fact, i think he will take a big risk in the grapling exanges..... Prediction: Sun Lee by Submission 170 lbs Last King Jr v Endang Kurnia Both this fighters desperatly need a win here, Last King is the oldest fighter with clear advantage in terms of boxing , but the youngster,Endang is coming to age i think, and he managed to win hes last fight with and impressive 55sec submission ....he looked very athletic and strong ,the hard work on training paid dividends then will it pay dividends again....i belive there is a good chance for that to happend..... Prediction:Endang Kurnia by Submission 135 lbs Jimmy Kalfic v Bart Paw Bart Paw record is apauling and he is one of those fighters in risk of being cut off the promotion rankings....and i canot see him win here neither , he will be the much smaller man again and hes moral level doesnt look good neither....this fight has a lot of meaning for both fighters but for diferent reasons...Kalfic will be a couple of fights away from a title if he wins here.... Guest Posted April 24, 2016 Report Share Posted April 24, 2016 Top Dog Preview will be live from our arena of choice the Hard Knocks, i think this is our best card to date and big expectations from everyone.....We lattley have decrease the smalk talk ii think the island athletic comission bans and fines put some managers away , but well we have to work with what we got , keep it fun and dont forget to avoid the "forbiden" words.....lol....we have a couple of aces on our sleves regarding superfights and event upgrade....keep in mind the new changes regarding low ranked fighters in their respective divisions.....we only have slots available for big fights....i guess some of you will have to get that hype from QFC fights, you free to them but will be a must win situation because doing those QFC fights it can work either way regarding hype.....PAYPERVIEW 185 lbs TITLE Carlos Newton 7-0 v Gleb Zheglov 5-0 This is a very good fight on papper will the fighters live to expectations and give the fans a great fight?.....well me i think they will i think this two unbeaten fighters are the island cream of the crop....this two midleweights have been runing trough oponents like if they were nothing specialy the champ, he finished all but one of is fights inside 1 round and i have a feeling he s aproach will be exacly the same here ....hes manager is one of the best "newcomer" managers of the year untill now.....hes fighters are very well treated and they come to win.....if it works why change?!.....but Gleb is a diferent kind of animal in my opinion hes a very quick boxer and hes dirty boxing from the clinch is second to none...... Prediction: Carlos Newton by Submission 265 lbs Otis Whittaker 6-1 v Mark Wahlberg 5-1 This one is not a title fight but is one of our best hyped fights in the card....it will be fire works when this two heavyweights meet .....Otis used to be managed by Peel Steel and is a former undisputed champion but was realesed and was picked up by Reggie Thistleton (Highland Island Boss)...1+1= 2!....he will leave when the contract finishes ,hes a realy good fighter but i cant lie about this one...i hoope he loses this fight,and if there is a fighter that can shut him down that fighter is Mark, he loves the clinch so he will thrive against Otis....and he knows a win here will get him a title shot.... Prediction:Mark Wahlberg 145 lbs TITLE Alexander Vermeer v Jesus Icon For me he is the best P4P fighter in the island today....The Dutchman route to stardom has been nothing short of spectacular , he avenge hes only carrer loss by knocking out the champion Hop Sing Jung twice and did the same with Alpha gama retiring the former ......hes about to get into our HOF and he will defenitly get that award if he wins here....hes up against Icon ,a fighter that he beat already before....but every fight is diferente and circumstancies change ...Icon has won every fight but the one against the champion and he looks determined to avenge that loss, he said he knows he has a great task in front of him but hes looking forward to the chalange..... Prediction: Alexander Vermeer by Decision 145 lbs Hop Sing Jung v Asato Mikio Whoever wins this one will get the next title shot for sure,but i think it might be for an interim belt.....and for Hop Sing this will be a defining moment in hes carreer....this former judo champion was tought to be unbeatable at one stage of hes martial arts carreer, but it all changed in hes last couple of fights, loosing twice to the corrent champion....the loss humble him a bit and he looks revitalized a new man ready to choke people out....Asato is a diferent animal hes been knocking people out for fun and doesnt seem realy conserned who we trow hes way...took less then 2 sec for him to accept the fight.... Prediction:Asato Mikio by TKO 155 lbs Pyry Kontio v Blaster Monocastor JJ is my brother but i have to go with the former champion here,he is one of my favourite island fighters and i think he was unlucky loosing hes belt, a couple of adjustments needed and he looks like he did that.....a win here will get him a title shot a hes eyes tell me that he is a man on a mission....Monocator however is no chump,with good chin and good kicks he likes to stay in the outside but looks very well conditioned and im sure he wont mind the clinch neither, but i think he has hooles in hes game and Kontio will capitalize on it.... Prediction:Pyry Kontio by submission 205 lbs Vanilla Isis v Victor Champ I think Victor Champ is in over hes head here, he will crumble to Isis relentless pressure in the clinch...Isis will clinch and cut the distance so he can avoid danger from that big right hand that Victor possesses....i dont think this one will go the distance but i dont think it will be finish quick neither....both fighters have a very tactical aproach and will be the most inteligente that will have the uperhand here.... Prediction:Vanilla Isis by TKO 135 lbs Issumatar Tariaksuq v Heinz Beanz This is a no brainer no doubt in my mind who will win here , is fact i think Issumatar will get a title shot after he wins here.....all hes fight went the distance ,all but one ,the one he lost by submission....hes managed by Northen Ninja (Newton manager too) and i have a better chance of winning the lottery then he has to loose....Beanz said he will probably retire if he looses the fight.... Prediction:Issumatar Tariaksuq by decision 265+ lbs Luigi Linguine v Travis Browne We as an organization realy hoope Luigi does well here that would give us options regarding title fights contenders...i think he has all it takes to come away with a quick win here without taking too much damage and in my opinion this will be your classic clinch rape matinee....Travis lost hes first fight and i dont think he will do much better here ...0-2 will make hes life very dificult regarding hes stay in Island FC.... Prediction:Luigi Linguine 265 lbs Roland La Starza v Mike Sanchez I cant say much about Mike , but hes making hes professional debut here and he looks to have a pretty well balanced skill set but still not enough i think , at only 18 years of age he should have stay in the gym not come into the cage....easy picking but Roland wont mind about that , bare in mind this was probably the weekest match up possible and with the new changes regarding the rooster might have been the last easy oponent he will ever face in Island FC... Prediction: Roland La Starza 265 lbs Kash Singh v Kayleb Anderson The worse fight on the card record wise both fighters with apauling records but hey stay positive at least we know one of them will come away with a win...i dont think that, that will realy matter because both this fighter will probably get the marching order very soon if the dont start winning..... Prediction:DRAW KNOCK!...KNOCK!.... WHO IS IT? "ITS YOUR MOTHER FUCKING WORSE NIGHTMARE" WHAT YOU WANT? "I WANT YOUR HEART AND SOUL" TO DO WHAT? We put on a savage display of heavyweight dynamite for several rounds, with a huge victory and the champion gets to revenge his only career loss... I waited... And still no word from our employers. I guess we hyped the fight enough ourselves. Here is my review: Once again, Shango is robbed by referees who are scared of a little blood.
