Gangles
I have been playing this game for almost 5 years now so I consider myself a veteran but cant seem to get a fighter into the elite level. I have a private gym to give my fighters top level training but I feel like I must be missing something when it comes to tactics and fighter creation. I know some of you managers have really created a winning formula and wouldnt mind shedding light on some of my errors.
Monsieur.Camara
We can discuss some fights / fighters here and learn together. I like Corban Storm a lot, remember him and Steve having some wars. Will read about his fights and come up with some questions in a few. Others should too. Guest
As an old player returning after some years off I was in the same boat but got quite a bit of help from an alliance I was in.. Just have to adjust to certian tendencies your opponent is doing. Bit hard to do with both your fighters are sen+ lol but msg me in game if you have questions

I really enjoyed those Chris Steve fights even though I was on the losing side. Corban Storm is a great example for this topic though. He is an elite striker, with Olympic level wrestling and the best chin I have ever trained. Granted he doesn't have KO power to end fights immediately but I'm still surprised on the outcomes of some of his fights. Take for instance his most recent against Willie Wood. This guy is a toothpick with worse wrestling yet he stuffed all 9 shooting TD. How does that work?
Gutz
The problem is that some of the hiddens get truly revealed so late in the game that you might have decent, very skilled fighter that will never reach the top. But as it takes so long to build them that you might be reluctant to cut them as you are already emotianaly invested too. It really sucks. I have couple ln my roster now. I know I need to cut them but I just cant.. Granite chin without ko power is still something you can work with. But Granite chin and low Heart and you are fooked. That is that your fighter will likely fold under pressure in big fights. If you build your fighter accordingly he likely has decent skills to cut thru lower levels in competition but as skilled fighters emerge with good hiddens, he is done. So perhaps my advice is to release your fighter as soon as you can see that he cant be truly elite. What happens if he isnt the better skilled fighter in fight? What if you try higher damage etc. Once you know what your fighter truly is then you can also build your tactics around that.
goodtymes31
One thing I’ve never been sure of, what are the cues you can look for to determine the “heart” of your fighter.
aylib
One thing I’ve never been sure of, what are the cues you can look for to determine the “heart” of your fighter. After a fighter gets rocked--if it says that he has gotten his legs back quickly (say 30 seconds or less, or with very little moves after getting rocked)--that's an indication he has heart. Another is that he survives a lot of knockdowns/instances of getting rocked. If you see a rocked fighter seemingly turn it up and finish his opponent shortly after getting wobbled--that suggests heart. If he keeps getting finished despite granite chin and commentary mentions wobbly legs and you fail to see him getting his legs back--that's a sign that his heart is lacking.
