  2. That's right folks. The carnage is back once more. This time in honour of the few sunny days we get here in ol' Blighty. The format will remain the same as last time. 25 year old creations. 170lbs (MUST be created at 170lbs and remain at 170lbs throughout tournament). 3 x 5 Min Rounds in the Cage. Starting on the 1st June fights will be EVERY OTHER DAY until the end of the month. 15 rounds of destruction in total. The dreaded swizz format will be in full effect. For those not familiar it is a format that only a nerd can understand but in basically it is a way to decide the best of the bunch without everyone having to fight each other over the course of the tournament. Just don't think about that stuff. Just accept the fights and smash. Possibly should have announced this earlier but I lost track of time so the creation/testing phase will be a little shorter in order to get going at the start of June. Creation day will be from WED 22nd MAY. Testing is allowed but frowned upon. I'll set up some test events for anyone that wants them running on the 23rd, 24th, 25th. Would like everyone locked in by the 27th May though so I can set up the tournament and get fight offers out. Can work with any number of participants so not a concern there. Biggest issue is being active enough to accept fights every other day and not throw a wobbly if you're getting your ass kicked. Everyone was great with that last time so hopefully the same again. I'll keep the Prize Money the same as last time too. 1st Place = 6 Million T$ 2nd Place = 3 Million T$ 3rd Place = 1 Million T$ Any question please ask but for now, sign ups are open.

QFC is a shit show and is one of the many things that need addressing urgently.
  7. With the lack of interest I don't think anyone would blame you for shutting down the idea for now. Perhaps you can have another go down the line when you have more time.
  8. It's Don Rockmuller's time to shine but that doesn't mean that you can't ride his coattails to glory. Go to LADBROKE and give me all the money you have.
  9. Would be an unnecessarily unfair format. Ideally no team gets any byes. You also have no idea if you're going to get 10 teams. I highly doubt it personally as there are barely 10 active alliances. Just say the format will be a group stage followed by a knockout stage as per normal. Group phase tbd depending on numbers.
  10. We've had 18 year olds and 25 year olds and to be honest, most get thrown away after the tournament anyway. You're never going to please everyone so don't try. Personally, I'm not fussed either way. Don't like multiple teams idea for obvious reasons. Too easy for shenanigans to occur. Would rather see the team size increased to 5 and allow up to 2 fighters per manager for alliances with fewer members.
  11. I think I've run three or four AWC tournaments now and have had anywhere from 3-5 fighters per team. All come with their own issues. Personally, I think for legitimacy, it should be five fighters per team but then most alliances wouldn't be able to field that unless you allowed some managers to have two fighters each Three fighters per team is probably the most realistic but even then you might have to allow two fighters per manager. Four fighters is fine but then depending on the format, you open yourself up to ties. Wouldn't recommend allowing multiple teams per alliance however. More teams are always better but in my experience this was the biggest mistake I've come across.
  12. Come an av a go if ya fink your broke enuff! LADBROKE
