Thoughts from the CEO:

It's Wednesday already? time flys during the summer holidays, I spent way too long this weekend working on them video's and testing things I fell behind on the write-up's and for that I apologize, hopefully, you can all forgive me as we continue to experiment with different ways to get across our fighters stories! I have had a champion's spotlight in my inbox from Tony for a few day's now so expect that one up soon also along with a rankings update sometime later today :)

A quick shout out to Aspire Nutrition will be launching its second product this coming week with a weight gain supplement currently in the research pipe line, thank you for the continued support guy's, this is a product essentially developed by all of the people who have continued to buy Aspire 160's over the last few months so thank you so much for that, you have helped make Aspire Nutrition the #1 company of its type in the game with just a single main line product and that's amazing.

For the moment ill re-post my latest effort a video promo for Aspire 49: Frankels vs Castillo incase anyone missed it, I'm pretty much just doing them for fun when I have a video idea, I'm not sure if they will become regular features or just when I feel like it but hopefully someone enjoy's them!

265lbs: Kimbo Slice vs Rocket Bob Frankels

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b10.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14399401851530.jpg

Height: 202 cm Height: 200 cm

Weight: 270 lbs Weight: 276 lbs

Record: 11-2-0 (WWWLW) Record: 13-3-0 (WWWWW)

Pre:

Much has been said about Kimbo Slice's surprising victory over former Aspire 265lbs champion Dimitri Zaitsev following a three round destruction at the hands of Zaitsev only to pull a hail-mary style KO punch that took the champion down and immortalised Kimbo Slice as the current reigning and defending Aspire 265lbs champion, leaving the world stunned at the outcome. Kimbo "Dark Killer" Slice is not to be underestimated and could potentially provide more shocks to come as insiders suggest Slice's contractual negotiations with Aspire MMA so far failed to result in a satisfactory outcome for eaither side, with tensions high the eyes of the world will be on Slice's right-hand tonight.

Currently on six fight win streak "The Pagan Party Beast" Rocket Bob Frankels is the first major name of the former Evolution fighting organisation to make his Aspire MMA debut, known for his legendary battles with Pierre St. Georges back in the Primal Fear organisation circa 2016, it's Frankels natural KO ability that most fear, but what's inside his mind is perhaps the most concerning, said to posses a chemistry degree and accurate insomnia Frankels spends most of his personal time in deep meditation contemplating the most brutal ways possible to bring pain upon his victims, devoting his life to the pursuit of the perfect fight he prides himself on seeking out the worlds finest competition in an ongoing personal quest to become the very best of all time.

Fight:

Post:

Dazed by the bright lights above him Slice slowly came around and tried to return to his feet with furious intentions almost unaware that the cage was now filled with personal and the fight long since over, half strapped to a medical gurney with paramedics hovering over him trying to prepare him for the move to the ambulance Slice sank back into the deluxe white pillow provided and consigned himself to the reality he must have been knocked out, "god damn it, this was my moment, what now?" Slice thought to himself as the medical staff lifted him out of the cage and up the ramp.

As if this night couldn't get any worse the view of Rocket Bob Frankels in the giant titantron ahead of him with his arms in the air celebrating devastated Slice, adding insult to injury as rumors of Slice's contractual situation hit the floor the audience began to chant "Nah nah, nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye" lead of course in procession by the newly crowned champion Rocket Bob Frankels.

Winner - Rocket Bob Frankels by way TKO (Punches) : Fight Rating 65%

Across the cage stands undefeated former MMAHelsinki 205lbs champion Tero Susi, inate KO power underlined by intense, explosive atheltistism are the key's to Susi's success as he continues to dismantel top contender after top contender in his ongoing metoric rise up the divisional rankings, one of Aspire MMA's biggest most anticpated signings of all time their is great expectation that a victory tonight would position Susi in line for a shot at the Aspire 205lbs title.

To claim Rollo Gracie has world class BJJ skills would be a gross understatement of the situation, he without a shadow of a doubt the absolute finest practitioner of his craft at 145lbs in the ID range bar-none, with seventeen submission victories to his name to date an excellence of execution and credit to his family name. Coming directly off a loss to Aspire 145lbs champion Riff McGee via unanimous decision at Aspire 50: McGee vs Gracie following a five fight win streak that saw him granted his title opportunity, the road back to the title begins here.

Khunbish Borjigin hailing from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia fighting out of the GWad's Playpen based out of Montreal, Canada representing The Six Musketeers fighting camp and possessing some of the most lethal striking skills in his division with a tangible knockout ability that is underpinned by his ruthless ferocity in the cage, one of the most dangerous fighters in the 185lbs division on the fast track to the very top seek's what he describes as the "perfect performance" above all else, concerns of victory are a side effect of his ongoing struggle to fight the perfect fight, to take on the very best competition the world has to offer and defeat them soundly in operatic fashion like a flowing stream of perfection, this is his dream, this is Khunbish Borjigin's mission. Picking up a debut victory over prospect Lonnie Vaughn via TKO (Strikes) at RISE TO GLORY before finding his first career defeat at the hands of current Hardcore Fighting Championship 170lbs champion Russell Northrop leading to a brief return to his home tribe in Bata, Equatorial Guinea that allowed "Exodus" to reconnect with his inner warrior before returning to dominate Omega veteran Lee Sin via unanimous decision at OMEGAGEDDON, going on to destroy Monk Eastman via KO (Punch) earning an opportunity to rise to 185lbs and take on Omega Fighting 185lbs champion Hassan Dehu a prospect many considered unwise at the time but utilising his explosive speed and technical superiority resulted in a KO (Punch) title victory for the tribesman. Defending successfully against Fabouzi Massu via TKO (Strikes) at NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS 4 it was finally top contender Vito Mazzini who would deliver Bosco Iwoba's second career loss via Submission (Armbar) at OMEGA 34 The War in Montreal.

Better speed and agility, or maybe your guy started crumbling when he took a hit. Could be several reasons for it.

My dude have big heart, it should have been the opposite, elite punches elite striking defense, speed and Agility 14, i doubt he can outstrike me that much, unless he gone aggro 90% or something, still i cant believe he landed so many hits.

Mikael Brophy - Champions Spotlight:

Since the outset of his career, Mikael Brophy has been stunning crowds and opponents with a tenacious, versatile fighting style that has proven to be almost impossible to resist. In his debut fight, at only eighteen years old, Brophy showed an unusual level of comfort in all stages of the fight, overwhelming an outclassed Mark Jackson and setting the stage for what was to become a dominant career of highlight reel finishes and broken opponents.

205lbs: Akoni Gray

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14431839331209.png

Age: 24

Height: 189 cm

Weight: 210 lbs
Record: 4-2-0 (WWWWL)

Brophy tore through Primal Fear, knocking out his first three opponents and reminding the world of the whirlwind Muay Thai that brought him to professional MMA in the first place. Proving that he had the ability to finish a fight either on the feet or from the ground, Brophy still hadn't faced a true test of his toughness and resolve. Many critics said that Brophy was a glass cannon, and that his reign of terror would end with the first strike that landed flush on his jaw. Brophy finally faced that test against the iron-chinned Akoni Gray in his first headlining fight at Primal Fear in the TUF tournament.

"Gray lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Michael Brophy has been cut."
"Brophy throws a lazy uppercut
and Gray makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range."
"Gray cracks Brophy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd."
However, Brophy showed the poise and composure of the champion he would become, returning fire with a swarm of punches and kicks that rocked the impossibly tough Gray and kept him reeling and covering up for the rest of the fight.
"Gray on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gray is rocked!
Brophy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gray lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gray lands with an uppercut that bounces Brophy off the cage and back into range.
Gray throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Brophy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Akoni Gray's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it."
At the end of the third round Gray was still standing, but barely, and his face was a bloody, pulverized mess, and Brophy's critics were not talking as loud. Although he lost the tournament in the finals to a very crafty submission by Alejandro Scott, Brophy had proven to everybody that he had the makings of a top contender. And, like every true champion who has ever lived, Brophy came back from his loss in the TUF Finale even sharper, more focused and more ferocious than ever. He has not lost a fight since.

Although Primal Fear was not to last, Brophy would make the move to Aspire MMA, which has proven to be a wise decision. Right off the bat, Brophy showed the Aspire fans the same electrifying style that he had been bringing to Primal. A title shot would not be far away for the final Primal light heavyweight champ.

"Brophy and Fo are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Brophy throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Fo into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Brophy knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever."

205lbs: James Adams

Height: 190 cm

Weight: 220 lbs
Record: 14-0-0 (WWWWW)

At Just Bleed 37, Brophy faced three-organization champion James Adams for the right to a shot at the Aspire title. Although Brophy came into the fight as a huge underdog, he surprised Adams and the world by not only winning, but knocking out the undefeated Adams and handing him his only loss in fifteen fights.

"Brophy clobbers Adams with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise."
"Brophy lands a big head kick that sends Adams tumbling to the mat! Brophy takes a step backwards and waves Adams back to his feet - he wants the finish!"
"Brophy weaves into range and cracks Adams right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Adams goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Brophy is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically."

Height: 185 cm

Weight: 206 lbs
Record: 17-6-0 (WWWLL)

There was only one thing in the way of Brophy wearing the Aspire light heavyweight crown: champion Gerrald James. However, the fight proved to be nothing more than a formality, followed by another amazing finish.

"BAM! Brophy delivers a spinning backfist that drops James like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!"

205lbs: James Adams

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14538421995084.gif

Age: 25

Height: 185 cm

Weight: 205 lbs
Record: 15-1-0 (WLWWW)

The seemingly unstoppable Brophy now stood atop a heap of broken enemies as the light heavyweight king of Aspire MMA. Meanwhile, James Adams had also gone back to his winning ways, earning a rematch with Brophy and a shot at the Aspire title. What happened next was the MMA equivalent of the riddle, what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? The answer: a strong contender for fight of the year. And a majority draw.

"Adams lands with a nice combination. Brophy backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Mikael Brophy has been cut."
"Adams is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jab by Adams.
Mikael Brophy's cut is getting worse."
"Adams throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brophy counters with a nice right hand that sends Adams toppling to the canvas! Adams scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Brophy finish him?!"
"Adams shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Adams working over Brophy with some ground and pound. Brophy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable."
"Brophy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Adams is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brophy, into his guard."

Epilogue of a Champion:
For five incredible rounds, these two savages relentlessly attacked, throwing over two hundred strikes. Both men pressed forward and neither gave an inch, and it was a very tough fight to score. The ringside announcers had the fight going to Adams by the slimmest of margins, but the judges cut the margin even slimmer and did the unthinkable by calling for a draw in a title fight. On August 20, these two gladiators will face off in a much-anticipated trilogy fight at Aspire 68 at the Wombley Arena in London, and across the entire globe via pay-per-view. No matter where you are in the world, this is one fight that true fans of MMA will not want to miss! .

Aspire 67: Gracie vs Denke - Live from the Wombley Arena (93,607) : Attendance - 91,801 : Event Rating - 794.15 : PPV Sales - 175,183

Betting: Aspire Casino

Thoughts from the CEO:

First of all I would like to apologise for the Aspire 67 review coming out before Aspire 66's chronologically, this is in large due to the fact I had booked both events for today (Sunday 13th) and at the time had failed to consider the timezone situation, the event ID's were already in place with London's been much higher than the LA card meaning even if we switched the numbers of the card around they will still display on our org page in a weird way, tl;dr I just figured I would leave it how it was since we will soon be switching to a Wed/Sun show rotation starting at Aspire 70 onwards and the problem will naturally correct itself as a result, this will be an ongoing issue for a couple weeks during our double shots but rest assured no write-up will be omitted!

This week see's another Aspire MMA legend announced to take part as the fourth entree into the Aspire Hall of Fame 2017, Aspire 170lbs champion Ramon Gracie, with the inaugural inductions set to take place at our final LA Memorial Colossuseum event on the 27th of August before we make our permanent residence in the Wombley Arena in London, England.

Few others on the Aspire MMA roster have perfected a style of combat to truly become the absolute best in the world at what they do in the way Ramon Gracie has embodied the full force and spirit of Brazillian Jui Jitsu, a member of the legendary Gracie dynasty his technical prowess and sharp execution put him amongst the best to ever to utilise the art form in a real combat situation, idolized by a growing generation of young men and women entering into lifestyle inspired by Gracie's continued success at Aspire MMA and lineage of top competitors left decimated in his path it is a great honour that we confirm his immortalisation in the inaugural Aspire Hall of Fame class of 2017.

Induction into the Aspire HoF will take place only three times per calendar year with scheduled dates of the 27th of August 2017, 27th of December 2017 and 8th of April 2018 for the next three ceremonies with a class induction limit of just five combatants per induction, each new addition must meet the caliber and standard set by all previous inductees to ensure the lasting legacy and prestige of the honour going forward.

Perhaps the most respected champion in Aspire MMA veteran Ramon Gracie has had a storybook career going undefeated in his first thirteen professional fights before finally finding defeat at the hands of Tarkhan Naranbaatar at StrikForce Union #30 losing his 170lbs StrikeForce Union Championship in the process, bouncing back with convincing submission victories over both Otavio Madruga and Tarkhan Narnabaatar at SFU #39 and SFU #48 respectively it was a debut Aspire 170lbs championship victory over Dum Debble at Aspire 30 that brought Gracie to the world stage, his Aspire 38 unanimous decision loss to Jed Knight did nothing to stop the momentum of his meteoric rise in fame as he went forward to destroy divisional gatekeeper Andy Fitzgerald in the first round via Submission (Armbar) putting him on track for another title opportunity against then Aspire 170lbs champion, Alessandro Orsini.

Securing the Submission of the Night bonus for his championship win at Aspire 46: Orsini vs Ramon it was the purchase of Dignity Fighting Championships that put Gracie on course for a promotional champion vs champion showdown with Dignity! 170lbs champion Paul Warror at Aspire 62: Gracie vs Warror an event that stands out as one of the highest record setting events in Aspire MMA history and producing an epic encounter between two of the ID ranges very best, successful in the eyes of the judges during the first two rounds Gracie struggled in the third and found frustration in the fourth but a final last ditch submission attempt in the closing seconds of the fifth prevented a judges call resulting in a Submission (Guillotine) victory for BJJ's finest.

At just thirteen years old following a mob war in St Petersberg disaster struck as the Alakov compound came under fire from rival crime lords resulting in the deaths of Mario Alakov and several of his associates including both of Brody's parents leading to the ointment of Azamat as the head of the family, swearing revenge upon those who had wronged him and announcing that hence forth Bordy would be considered his blood brother and second in command of the family business, quickly the two brought St Petersberg to its knees but a faithful discovery that Mario Alakov had been sleeping with Brodys mother lead to a cataclysmic rift between the two "blood brothers" resulting in Brody sleeping with Alakov's beautiful model fiances Ares Alisan in a torrid affair of revenge that lasted some six months before it's eventual discovery, violence of course ensued with blood spilled and shots fired in the very public setting of the Fiasco restaurant in the famous St Petersberg french quarter resulting in the death of Alisan attracting significant high-profile media attention, giving rise to a popular television show based on the story following Azamat Alakov's eventual arrest, detainment and finally execution just prior to his trial by unknown assailants.
