bestever
Ive decided to do a Q&A Show/Survey Show of the duel. I have a few questions and answers Ill record for myself but I wanted to ask the community. Examples: Why do you enjoy MMA and why are you here? What was the first Fight you ever saw? Best/Worst fight? What events have you been to? Stuff like this.... Im curious to see how similar or different a group of people who love the game and sport can be. If you have an question/answer for me to record. Post it below or PM me. Ill answer just about anything game or sport related, if you want to ask any personal questions or learn more about me. Thats an option as well.
BlakePhoenix
Q) Why do you enjoy MMA? A) Most pure sport where one individual can inflict their will and domination over another. All other sports have become boring by comparison. Q) What was the first Fight you ever saw? A) I don't remember. It was the first fight on the VHS of whatever UFC (1-10) was the oldest that Blockbuster Video had in stock when I was browsing one night and saw that shit on the shelf that would change my life forever.Q) Best/Worst fight? A) Too many great ones to pick one BEST, but Gaethje vs Johnson is the first that comes to mind. WORST is easily Shamrock vs Severn 2.Q) What events have you been to? A) Extreme Challenge (I don't remember which #), Rings USA (I don't remember which #), 3 UFC events in Las Vegas I don't remember which #s, but I remember 2 of the main events were where Randy Couture literally spanked Tito's ass, and the first Tito vs Chuck fight. MatthewUKP
1. I enjoy MMA mainly because I love combat sports in general. For some reason I always enjoy professional fighters getting paid to beat the ever loving shit out of each other. That and it's something my Dad and I bond over 2. The first fight I ever saw was Tito/Chuck 2 and that fight was the first time I got to watch my favorite fighter of all time Chuck Liddell. 3. The best fight I ever saw was Robbie Lawler/Rory MacDonald 2 and the worst fight I saw was Kimbo/Dada 5000 or Ngannou vs Lewis (first time I ever yelled at my TV for someone to do something) 4. Unfortunately so far none. I got many close calls for UFC events in Toronto but sadly never went. I might be going to a regional event though called BTC 6: Night of Champions in June. Other than that I've went to a bunch of boxing events as well but that's all regional.

Monsieur.Camara
Why do you enjoy MMA and why are you here? Grew up competing in martial arts, karate as a youth and taekwondo/ kickboxing/boxing as an adult. There is something magical and just raw about facing another human being in combat, it prepares you for life in a way studies/academics cannot. Everybody in my family does some sort of martial art, be it striking or grappling, it is mandatory for everybody from a young age. What was the first Fight you ever saw? An old replay of Don "The Dragon" Wilson vs Branko Cikatic. For those that thought The Dragon was just a movie super star and his fights were not legit they really need to watch some of his wars. Don Wilson was an absolute badass, with a great background in Karate and Kung Fu but his secret weapon was really his stamina and boxing. Best fight? Best: GSP making BJ 's corner throw the towel after round 4. BJ had talked so much and "to the death Georges" just to be saved by his brother. Georges punching the cage in frustration was just awesome. Walking on the bottom of the ocean with a rock was never gonna prepare him for GSP's improved jab and his G&P. Made a ton of money on that and the Alves fight too What events have you been to? All Montreal based UFC events. Did quite a bit of scalping and partying with the fans/ fighters since I am associated to Tristar and the local fighting community. Ahhh the good old days

thb
Why do you enjoy MMA and why are you here? I don’t think there is one reason why I enjoy it, there are many. One of which is of course the competition or perhaps drama would be a better word to describe it. A fight is like a story and a story done right can capture anyone’s attention. I think everyone loves a good underdog story, for example. Another is the variety of skills put on display. There is a reason why it is called mixed martial ARTS. Some of the things these guys do in the cage can be absolutely mesmerizing to look at. From the matrix-like moves a la Anderson Silva, avoiding dangerous strikes as if they were all happening in slow motion, to crafty submissions that make your jaw drop. As for why I am here: being able to create and nurture your own fighter, to see your fighters evolving in the game and possibly reaching fame in cyberspace is an amazing thing. Another thing I do like about the game is the community. While it has deteriorated quite a lot in the past couple of years, the core of die-hard managers playing this game is the only reason this game is still around. What was the first Fight you ever saw? Don’t know, all I remember is finding MMA through pro wrestling. Maybe Ken Shamrock? Best/Worst fight? So many great fights to chose from. Cheick Kongo Vs Pat Barry, Anderson Silva Vs Rich Franklin I, Bisping Vs Hendo I, Scott Smith Vs Pete Sell, Fedor Emelianenko Vs Kazuyuki Fujita, … just to name a few. As for worst fights, it was not scheduled to be a real fight so Act Yasukawa Vs Yoshiko is the dirt worst for me. What events have you been to? Only boxing and wrestling events, never been to an MMA event.
kobe.monteclaro
1.) I was not really a MMA fan before but because of MMA Tycoon, I tried watching MMA more as much as I can whenever I have the chance. (The sport I really love is Football(Soccer)) I enjoy MMA because I enjoy it. I don't know bro. I think I'm little bit addicted to it. 2.)The first fight I ever saw was UFC 65 Matt Hughes vs GSP. Of course, GSP is my favorite fighter until now. 3.)Best fight-UFC 189 Robbie Lawler vs Rory MacDonald Worst fight-I know some but haven't seen them 4.)Never been to any event because of my location and poverty :'D
proper12inches
I'd like to know your opinion on fighter's shorts. While we all know keeping it skintight provides the added advantage of not allowing the opponent to grab onto it, at what point are we basically looking at the male equivalent of a cameltoe? Yoel Romero's prominent bulge comes to mind, but he is hardly the only culprit.

Mannetosen
Why do you enjoy MMA and why are you here? Oh man. I was made vaguely aware of MMA around the time TUF 1 aired because some of my friends were watching it. I never really watched it though, until a guy I knew who trained karate convinced me to come with him to the gym. Another friend of mine showed me a grainy ass Mike Zambidis fight and it sort of snowballed from there. The game seemed fun when I came across it 10 years ago (jesus christ) so I figured I'd give it a whirl. It's weird, really. MMA went from some kind of sideshow that I heard the other guys in school talking about to one of the biggest parts of my life. What was the first Fight you ever saw? The first MMA fight I ever saw was Bas Rutten destroying Jason Delucia's spleen. Best/Worst fight? I still think Lawler/McDonald 2 is the best fight I've ever seen. I'm not sure what the worst fight I've seen is as I've seen some really dire regional level/amateur mma. What events have you been to? Tons of smaller events but no big name ones.
