  2. Even I didn't and I'm supposed to be his manager. Actually, I just logged in, and not only found out that Snape won, but also just found out that there's an actual prize for winning this. Freaking awesome! Thank you everyone for the support (especially Troid and Grant) After an awesome New Year, I couldn't have pictured this ending any better than it turned out! Happy New Years!
  3. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w6.jpg Proud to have made you and the guys Proud Also, congrats to Shillings! Don't know if I'll win, but it will be an honor to make you bleed.
  4. Lexington Snape http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w2.jpg I believe in giving credit where credit is due - and you just got lucky. I'll do what is necessary to get the title shot back and then I'll paint the octagon with your insides You're good. Hell, you're the second best. But tonight, it's pure chance that secured your belt, not skill. Adios!
  5. You may be Irish, but you ain't no Conor McGregor. Maybe his retarded half-literate brother. So, stop with the cheap pretense. Also, if what you said was true, we wouldn't have to fight. Alas, the fight is scheduled and I wait on top, while you slowly lose tan being overshadowed by my greateness. The only plausible threat you are to me is that your thick empty skull might injure my knees. But thus is the burden of my crown. I'm more than willing to pop your little Leprechaun head until it cracks and pours gold coins like an Irish pinata. Cheers
  6. Listen little girl. Perhaps you believe you're tough because in kindergarten you beat up another girl in a batman costume, just before your mom picked you up. You go ahead and smash away. And when I'm done taking your face away, I might just do the same to your mom. Send her my love.

    Jet?

I'm a big noob in a lot of areas, so I've truly no idea what to do here. I won a Jet on Spin & Win. I would like to sell it - is that possible? If it is, how do I do it (what to click)? Also, how much should I sell it for? I don't need a lot of money, so I don't mind selling it cheap.
  8. Although most of these suggestions are pretty good, the ones I highlighted red have absolutely no connection to the kind of TV series OP's wife likes to watch.
  9. Fair enough. That would be a TYPICAL day, as you said. But happens when something upsets this hypothetical fighter. Or if he starts feeling lonely, depressed, or something? What happens to most people - they go out with their friends. And then, shit happens often to them (a lot of UFC guys get in trouble because of street brawls, crazy fans and some even get rape or assault charges). Also, what you said about UFC guys used to be true - most of them used to have jobs. Now those kinds of guys are actually rare exceptions. Most professional fighters that fight in the UFC or other major MMA companies can afford only to train and fight for a living, thus having a lot of free time (no less than an average employed person). But this is besides the point. Even if this did get incorporated into the game code (which judging by the largely negative feedback it probably won't), these random events probably wouldn't happen every day or even every week.
  10. Surprisingly, only I have. Don't know how so much people missed that one.
  11. Couldn't agree more. I didn't recommend it because its cancellation was a tragedy that's bound to dissapoint anyone that starts watching it. Same thing with Terra Nova.
  12. Hi all! I was thinking today about what didn't seem realistic about the game since day one (althought I really really love the game). The fact is, we are supposed to be "just managers", yet our control over our fighters lives is beyond realistic. They all seem to be so professional to a point of me unable to see them more than simple tools for my purposes. Professional sportsmen usually have exciting lives full of drama, which is what makes a managers life more difficult. Some fighters are more "disciplined", but some prefer a rock-star lifestyle, which can have both good and bad consequences on their career. I therefore would like to make a suggestion to include a few simple "random events" and "life changes" that would humanize our fighters and bring a new dimension to the game (but without compromising its simplicity). Here are some possible random events I had in mind (feel free to add your own ideas to the mix): "Your fighter [name] decided to go out." (more likely to happen on thursdays, fridays and saturdays) Possible consequences: - "He got really drunk and woke up with a hangover." (-10% energy) - "He met a fan and signed an autograph." (+5% moral) - "He got into a bar fight and..." a) "... was thrown out of the club." (-5% moral) "... ended up in the hospital with minor injuries." (-5% moral, misses next training session) c) "... beat up a few guys and got arrested." (+5 hype, 200$ fine) - "He met a girl and..." a) "... she gave him a wrong number." (-10% moral) (more likely to happen to younger fighters) "... had a one night stand." (+10% moral) c) "... they started dating." (+10% moral + gained a GF [life change]) (...) "In the last training session, your fighter [name], ..." - "... sustained a minor injury." (-20% training effectiveness, +1 day injury) - (very rare) "... sustained a serious injury." (-70% training effectiveness, +(2, 3 or 4) days injury) - "... really pushed the pace and learned a lot." (+50% training effectiveness, +5% moral) - "... got into an argument with the coach." (-5% moral) - "... was interviewed by a local sports news channel." a) "He ended up making a fool out of himself." (-5 hype, -10% moral) "He gave a great interview." (+5 hype, +10% moral) c) "He demonstrated a few [highest primary skill] moves and made a good impression." (+10 hype) d) "He demonstrated a few [lowest primary skill] moves, but didn't impress anyone." (-5 hype, -5% moral) (...) Also, there can be random events that include being mugged (or disarming a mugger), volunteering (animal shelter, soup-kitchen, teaching children martial arts...), a family member dying, car accidents, winning a lottery, attending night-school or martial arts seminars, etc. The real trick would be to find a good balance between positive and negative events, but still not enabling them to influence the game too much - rather just give it a small flavoring. Life changes that I propose are similar to random events, but with a more permanent effect. I suggest the following (also feel free to add to the list): Getting a girlfriend - Higher agressiveness and heart while fighting - Higher impact on moral decrease after suffering a loss Breaking up - -15% moral - -10% effectiveness in next 3 training sessions (and losing the girlfriend, of course) Getting married (more likely to happen to older fighters) - Same benefits as having a girlfriend - 5% slower energy bar refill - Minimum moral: 25% Divorce - -15% moral (and losing the spouse benefits) Having children - 5% slower energy bar refill (per child) - +5% minimum moral (per child) Buying a car - 5% faster energy bar refill - -5000$ (possible car accidents) Buying a house - +20% moral - -20000$ Strict diet - 5% faster energy refill - -5% moral (when starting) - 10% increase in effectiveness of training conditioning and strength So... what do you guys think?
  13. Maybe it's not your style. It's one of those series that you either "get" or don't. Or rather, you have to get into it fully, or it won't stick to you. I personally loved it from the first episode. That being said, most people I know started the series, thought it was dumb, went back a few months/years later and rewatched it and only THEN got hooked. So maybe you are more like that
