Rambo
There's definetly guys that cut over 30...but those guys all end up having to move up in weight later in their careers. Hendricks, Rumble, Dos Anjos...long term it never works out For every guy that it doesn't work for, there's those guys making careers out of it. Sean Sherk, Tito Ortiz, Khabib. I'm sure most eventually move up, but there's still a lot of guys that make a living out of it.
Caleb613
What do you reckon is a healthy cut though. I'm 6"1 and 187 with about 11% body fat. I reckon I could make 155 tho if I drop another 2-3% body fat

I reckon I could make 155 tho if I drop another 2-3% body fat I wouldn't cut past 170 if I were you... and I would make sure I do it over 6 months and not within a month or two. then again, I'm the wrong guy to answer this question cuz I just don't really agree with significant weight cutting from a neurological / physical health standpoint. I'm just waiting on the day Dana forces Khabib to move to 170 though

JHL
Kevin Lee fights at 155 and he walks around at 188-189 lbs before he starts his cut. Lee has also been talking about moving up in weight and advocating for a 165 division saying that he can't make weight for 155 forever. So I agree that short term it can be done but in the long run big weight cutters tend to move up.
