Guest
Just an idea that popped in my head. Can we all agree that TWGC has been very successful since its start in MMATycoon? Well how about we do something similar under MMA rules. Think about it. 128 (or 256) of the baddest fighters in Tycooniverse competing to see who the #1 fighter is! This would need to be ID restricted & can either be Openweight or divided into weightclasses. This tournament would take place twice a year (RL), & the competitors would train for 3MOs. a week between fights to allow for recovery. Tournament winner must defend his prestigious title at the end of each ongoing tournament. Now we need someone to host it. Someone that is committed long term to this game. I was thinking none other than Mike Tycoon himself. He can decide if there is an entree fee of some sort (something to help Mike obviously). Imagine the epic smacktalk that would be taking place as well the anticipation leading up to the event! I mean there are always talks of who is the best & the baddest. Well.....I think this is the time to find out. Just something I was thinking about.
Caleb613
Would never work and 3 months training is far from necessary as that's a period of 3-10 fights for someone and the majority of the top 256 are in their primes and have been skill called already... As for a top 16 tournament in a singular weight class maybe once a quarter where managers must accept to join and if not then it goes to the next highest seed as the oppurtunity to join, with an automatically seeded and run tournament, that could maybe work one day
Guest
The game only has two people working on it and with all the flaws it has right now (even though the engine fix is right around the corner, it'll need follow-up attention and that's not including other ideas like cornermen, the twitter shit, company rehauls etc) wasting precious development time on another TWGC/Island diversion would hurt the core game more than anything. HardcoreHaney
I think it would idea..have like open weight class..It could be in known city like thiland, china, or anymore in asia maybe other places..8/16 (maybe not 16) men. No contracts, have to hand picked by a staff. winning takes all. No rules, head drops, just old school ufc with no rule, and injury risk is a high risk..could take them out along time, maybe deah (thats rare) but the award who be worth it for begging rights for winning and the cash.. could do like a once one year or twice.. HardcoreHaney
Still think this a good idea..have it unknown place. No rounds, no rules like ground stomps and hand head drops, i would say head butting but thats not a stat and even hitting.. below the belt..just like ufc one rules no biting or eye gagging..just a fight to finishes. Winner takes the prize of X anount of money but the down fall is cuts since fights didnt for cuts and injurys..price you pay to win it all. Oh a no asking sign up you get picked. Rambo
I would be okay with the Tycoon Olympics being a TWGC style event. Where you have to be top 20 W/C or something to enter or top 500 P4P... something. just run it quick like QFC tournaments. No monthly shit. Tycoon Olympic BS takes way too long and nobody really cares except the people in it. People quickly forget that it's happening and a lot of people can go inactive in the time span it takes to complete.
