why if you consider Billy the bastard to be best why doesn't he fight more often? he only trains and trains and has only fought once in 3 months
You think that your fighter is better based only on primaries
If you want a rematch talk to the matchmaker, a rematch is not a problem for me

You know how it is, 18 year old's need development, it is stupid to fight them all the time like 25 yr old builds. Not really interested in 25 yr old builds that decline after a few months. Different strokes for different folks I guess? I definitely couldn't train any secondary to stop an unlucky cut though

Anyway, excellent to hear that you are keen on a tiebreaker !! Thanks

Lets make it happen. Win, lose or draw I am looking forward to it :hehe:

Muthafucka Jones is still waiting at HW for your other boy too btw :guitar:

Disclaimer: This is a smack talk thread for a game, just having a bit of fun :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

just thought I would look up your record and how many fights you take Lionel. seems there is a bit of an incestuous relationship between certain managers? Like yourself and Budo's manager (who already got caught out previously as a multi), farming hype are we, identity crisis maybe? Or just interesting coincidences............

Farming hype? That's where I come in. That would mean that I played a part in it. Smack talk is fine. Hell, I would kill to find a way to get more if it going on. But, everyone can read this thread and see that I speak out and take it seriously when my matchmaking comes into question. Let's keep it fair.

As for the rematch, it's done. There will be a Romero-Bastard III in the near future.

As far as Budo, we all know what happened with Budo's manager. Budo has fallen behind and 205 is significantly tougher than it was since he was champ. Will he recover? Considering he is about 28, maybe not. Still, at the time he was in the number one contender spot, while Billy was just at the number 5 spot. So, considering you are getting a title shot, after making it to number 3 only because Thay lost, I wouldn't be calling people out for not being a legit number one contender and getting a title shot.

All that being said, I do love the fact that this situation has created a rivalry. And looking at the 205 division, I hope more rivalries come in to play.

Rumour has it that Murky McTavern wants to go down to the 185lbs division as he feels that the guys in the 205lb division pack too much power after suffering a devastating KO by “Hands of Shiva” Mantak Garuda. His manager has reportedly challenged him to climb the rankings if that’s the direction he decides to go to give Phol Boxaaja his first spanking or lose his place on his managers roster

Hey mister Hanzo, you are number 2 in the 155lb class and I just beat the number 3. It looks like you are struggling for match ups as you keep fighting the same fighters.(Mattison and Funaki). I am keen, so how about you and I go to the dance?? Singsongrit and Benedetti are booked so this is the only fight that makes sense.

Judgement Night !

Sorry for the absence but when I saw the card for this event I just had to do a preview.

JAG has hit the big time now and the next big event takes place at the Camden Conference Center where 7,000 screaming fans will be jammed in to see the main event of Champ Phol Boxaaja takes on the pretender to the throne Randy the Show who will try to be the first man to beat Boxaaja since he turned professional, many have tried and failed… will Randy knock the king from his 185 lbs throne???

Second to the main event is the 205 title fight between Mantak Garuda and Jan Sobieski, Garuda is the current champ of this division but only won it recently in July can he hold onto the belt for much longer??

Phol Boxaaja Randy The Show "Tessin"

Record 15-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 4-1-0 (W-L-D)

The record says it all really for Boxaaja… 15 wins with no duck eggs is an incredible record for such a great JAG stalwart he won the title back in December 2018 and has remained unbeaten since then. He has fought in defence of his title seven times since he won the title from Bardamont back them and he has held onto it for dear life since then. On paper Boxaaja has the slight advantage in boxing and MT which would suggest he might try to knock The Show on his ass and win from there but given Boxaaja talent on the floor where he has won 7 of his fights by way of submission he has the talent to mix it up a bit on any given night. He has beaten Sireika twice in the past once by TKO and once by submission so he knows how to adapt to win when he has to stay one step ahead of the competition. The last fight ended after two and a half minutes with a win by submission but could have gone the other way as his opponent hit Phol a couple of beauts before he he managed to get his leg over and caught Sireika on the hop and made his tap out within seconds of Phol locking him in as he knew it was game over! Phol is a good wrestler and world class boxer with infinite stamina so he is going to be hard to beat. Tessin is a relative newcomer to JAG with only 2 fights in the org but obviously fancies his chances of taking the crown. He has four wins to date with one loss, the loss was by way of submission and his four wins were by KO (X2), TKO and a Decision. He has dangerous GnP and is a decent boxer so he might try to stay on his feet and see if he can hurt Phol before maybe trying some GnP on him. Tessin fights just as well in the clinch as when standing and prefers head shots and doesn’t generally miss so Phol might have to soak up some damage before he can get his way with this fight. Despite Tessins confidence and talent I can’t really see Phol losing the belt this time around.

Next title up for grabs is the 205 lb title fight where Garuda is defending his belt

"Hands of Shiva" Mantak Garuda Jan Sobieski

Record 8-2-0 (W-L-D) Record 8-1-0 (W-L-D)

This is not the first time these two warriors will meet with one of the two defeats Garuda has suffered was at the hands of Sobieski by way of decision, so should be interesting to see if Garuda can turn that around in his favour or will Sobieski be over confident having beaten Garuda before! Garuda won this title recently when defeating Jones only last month so he is showing no fear about getting back into the ring to defend what he will feel is rightfully his! Tale of the tape is fairly even here sith Sobieski only having the slight advantage in Wrestling and they are level pegging on all the other stats. Garuda has lethal legs and a chin made of obsidian and has been nearly decapitated some of his previous opponents in the ring (Editors Note: There was a huge amount of headless corpses of local criminals found near a Tibetan monastery in Laos for a six month period while Garuda was on retreat but nothing was ever proven, or the local police were afraid to investigate! FURTHER NOTE: No more corpses have been found since Garuda stepped back into the ring). Garuda has eight wins and seven of those have been TKO and the one decision he got was a real slugfest in itself where over 200 punches were thrown between them and Garuda tried nearly 50 kicks in the same bout, how somebody wasn’t brain damaged in that one I don’t know! Garuda prefers standup but is equally comfortable in the clinch as well and in fact I think he might prefer the close in action of the clinch at times.

Sobieski is also an accomplished fighter and has won eight fights as well with TKO (X2), Submission (X5) and one decision completing his current CV. He is an excellent wrestler and prefers the ground rather than standup so he is the perfect counter for Garuda who will try to keep this fight off the floor if he can while I suspect Sobieski will try to get to the floor as soon as possible! Sobieski is a pretty good Takedown machine so I would expect him to try to keep Garuda down on the mat as much as possible. Hard one to call but think Sobieski might shade it on the night.

Best of luck to all the fighters taking part in the event and feel free to make some bets with my bookies for the event

Maybe this might get some smack talk happening :)
