JimCornette
Two simple questions. Is it possible to increase your KO power through training? I mean the KO power skill, not your chance of getting a knockout by increasing punches e.t.c. I believe I read that you can, but I can't find anything that can support that. Also, does getting knocked out increase your chance of getting knocked out in the future? Is there wear and tear on the chin stat? Or are both of these just flat skills that never move? Thanks!
BillyRose
1) Yes, Strength will increase the damage your strikes do (more KOs). And taking weight-gain supplements will increase your KO power relative to the division you fight in. While it's always useful to be the stronger fighter, these effects are still just a fraction of what your KO Power Hidden is worth. And in practice, sometimes lighter is a good thing. Smaller fighters have the advantage in many fights because they burn through less Energy. No matter how good your chin is, you can be Energy Loss KO'd. Just a quirk with the game engine. 2) KO losses make your chin just a little bit weaker each time. There are some comical fighters out there who have been KO'd 25 times. I imagine their chins resemble a beef patty at this point.

If I'm cutting a lot of weight, I know it makes my chin weaker, but, does it make my KO power a little stronger if I'm fighting someone smaller? Sort of like Conor McGregor when he fights at featherweight in real life, if that makes sense.

So you have a power advantage if you cut a lot to get there. Somewhere on the Wiki though, it does say drastic cutting can tire you out or make you easier to KO.
Guest
Weight advantage has never been well simulated or balanced in this game. The strength advantage is negligible, but the energy loss from weight cutting and body shots is very real. I rarely make fighters more than 8-9 lbs over the limit anymore.

JimCornette
You're going to find the answer to your second question real soon. Don't kid yourself, you know your boy is going to be shooting on me like Ryan Bader did Anthony Johnson.

Rambo
Height/Weight ratio impacts chin and KO power. The effects are marginal.
