andymckenzie
(On behalf of Runt) Ok! Onto round 8, which will be the last round. After that we will go into an elimination style, until we have a winner! Hitman is by far the fav to take the belt out, but, Krause gave him a tough fight when they met and it looks like he may be the contender! Anything can happen though, look at your game plans carefully, every win is going to count this final round. Standings: Dariusz Hitman (310547) 21Kaine Krause (311781) 17Taine Raharuhi (310853) 16Brandon Baldwin (310994) 15Mike Tyson (311681) 15Sergey Geng (311527) 15Tommy King (311800) 15Evista Fareston (310209) 14Li Zhou (310019) 14Nils Amainognieson (311795) 14Yoda Fairtex (311837) 13Deno Ripper (310263) 12 Fight offers are out. Runt
Well well well.Hitman can be beaten. And by the boss no less!It took until the last round for Hitman to be beaten, a very solid run, though he still sits at the top of the table. So it;s elimination finals time! The top 8 will move on to the elimination finals. Looks like Hitman may have some competition after all! Remember, it's round robin now. You lose, you're out. So anyone could still win this. Runner up gets first crack at the belt after the tournament is over!Top 8Dariusz Hitman (310547) 22Kaine Krause (311781) 19Taine Raharuhi (310853) 19Brandon Baldwin (310994) 18Sergey Geng (311527) 18Evista Fareston (310209) 17Mike Tyson (311681) 17Tommy King (311800) 16Eliminated Deno Ripper (310263) 15Li Zhou (310019) 15Nils Amainognieson (311795) 15Yoda Fairtex (311837) 14The eliminated fighters are welcomed to stay on and fight in the 170 division. If not, I understand, go ahead and release them. Hopefully a few stick around and make the new 170 division worth taking about.Fight offers are being sent. 1st faces 8th, 2nd faces 7th etc etc. Until we have a winner. Not long now! Runt
The final round has been fought. What a topsy turny tournament. In the final round the favourites fell, with the underdogs finishing strong. A little too late for some, kind of makes me wish we set the finals as a knockout 3 round tournament to see if the underlings can finish big. But rules are rules.So. Here is what the finals will look like.First place Corey "The Heathens" McGregor will face Bobby "F T W" Bones for all the marbles. The winner will score the belt, and the 100k contract. The loser will score a 50k contract. Good luck gentleman.Third place Rect Umm (311784) will face Hondo Attah (312057) in a highly sought rematch. These guys fought last round, I expected Rect Umm to dominate but he was beaten soundly. These guys will fight for the third place 30k contract. The winner of this fight, will also receive the first title shot against the tournament winner.Too all the other competitors, thank you for competing. It was a great little tournament, and we made some impressive fights. I hope you all stick around to compete in the new division.Good luck to all. Runt
The 205 pound tournament is now complete! And the winner is, and first young lions 205 champion, BOBBY BONES! It was a great fight, McGregor even rocking Bones towards the end of the fight. Could have easily gone the other way. Bones has secured the 100K contract, with McGregor picking up second and locking down the 50k. McGregor will now face Anastasio to become the number one contender. Rect Umm picked up the 30k at third, and will now face the Champion, a tough first defence. I’d like to thank everyone for competing in the 205 tournament, it will rather well, and that now signals the official opening of the 205 pound division. Great work gents!
