The greatest athlete of Latvian ancestry ever was Vilnis Ezerins. He played in the NFL in the 70's.

LeonStolz
They still bend the knee in NFL? I believe so but I don't really care. What I do care about is all the dumbass rules the NFL has and how it has stopped me from caring about football. (That and that the Cowboys have pretty mediocre the past couple seasons). The XFL has promised to get rid of a lot of the bs rules and that's why I'm actually somewhat excited for its return. It might suck like the last time it was around but at the moment I at least have hope.

Deuce7
I'll play, but I wont like it. Do you ever??? lol Anyway, back on track.........I'm curious to see if the Colts end up picking Bradley Chubb in the draft like most "experts" are predicting or if they go a little off track and pick the guy I would rather have in Saquon Barkley. I know common sense would say take Chubb since the Colts' defense needs the most improvement, but the Colts haven't had a decent running back/running game since Edgerrin James. Rambo
I want the Bucs to draft Derwin James or Bradley Chubb. I don't know how I feel about Marcus Davenport.
Deuce7
Jags and Bortles agree to an extension. 3yrs $54million......................wow
JLP
Jags and Bortles agree to an extension. 3yrs $54million......................wow I think thats a decent deal, only half the money is guaranteed and the per year money isnt all that high compared to other starting qb's. So they can move on if he regresses. He played pretty well last season and is still young. He's from my adopted home town and played at my college, so I hope he keeps improving and has a nice career. Deuce7
Here's hoping the Seahawks make some moves. Apparently they're trying to move Michael Bennett. Probably a good move on their part. Seems like they are going to be trading guys away, not bringing them in.

JLP
Hey JLP, how much money did the Bears lose by releasing Glennon after one year? Not much. There was little guaranteed money after the first season.
Deuce7
Kirk Cousins' list is down to four team: Cardinals, Jets, Vikings and Broncos. A little surprised to see the Jets on that list seeing at they lack offensive talent all over the place. If I was a betting man, I'd say Vikings and Cardinals have the best chance if Cousins wants to win anytime soon.

I think the Jets can give him the biggest contract, that's why they are probably in the final 4.
