Powers appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Powers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Calderon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Powers did well to prevent Calderon getting side control.
Calderon is nestled in close to Powers, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#SUB#

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Powers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Repomies has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Repomies and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
