We've been told by Jacobsen's head coaches at Elite Combat Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

And Jacobsen responds with a good body kick, but Frey manages to step out the way in time.

and Frey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jacobsen goes for a double leg but Frey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Frey continues to drive forward.
Frey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jacobsen misses with a body kick.
Frey swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jacobsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Frey on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Jacobsen counters with a three punch combo that has Frey backing up. Frey nods at Jacobsen to acknowledge the strikes.
