Kush shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Matsushima's guard.
Matsushima really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Matsushima avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Mama looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Mama lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Mama bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2#

Kona Kush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kush cracks Tung with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kush jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tung went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kush throws a jab but it's blocked by Tung.
The fighters circling - Kush throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tung displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kush throws out the jab.

Kush sizes up Tung with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looked like Tung was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
