Meuniex wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is dominant here and he's now got Meuniex's back!

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Johnson postures up in Tung's guard and throws a big left but Tung blocks it.
Johnson stays in close to Tung's body and controls the position.
Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Johnson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tung's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Tung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.

It looks like Johnson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T3#

Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Tung is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
