Patrick misses with a takedown attempt - Romero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Romero fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Patrick on the side of the head.
Romero lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Romero leaves Patrick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patrick walks into a straight right hand from Romero.
Patrick has his takedown stuffed
enabling Romero to counter with a crisp jab.

and Patrick takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Romero clobbers Patrick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #ROC2#Patrick is rocked!
Patrick drops his hands momentarily. Romero doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Patrick staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Patrick doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eden Romero!
Daniel Patrick spoke after the fight, saying 'Man, I've just been slacking lately and it has really taken its toll of my fighting style. All that time I've spent playing my XBOX ONE, trying to build a time machine in my basement and that girl on the corner of 11th and Franklin for helping me with my sexercise workout plan, "I Love You Brid'.

Romero stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Romero wants it to stay on the feet.
Romero tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Booth defends well and Romero ends up having to push Booth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#TD#
Excellent takedown into side control there by Booth.
Romero wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Booth scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Romero to see if he's OK.
Booth controls the position from side control.
Romero is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Booth cracks Romero with a big right hand but Romero just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Booth lands a nice forearm strike. #ROC#Romero is rocked!
Booth lands a big left to the face of Romero, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Booth and another - Romero is out! Booth stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Romero shoots for a double leg takedown but Craig sprawls well. He's pushed Romero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Craig avoids a punch combination nicely.
Romero wants to clinch but Craig slips to the side#TD#
and Craig decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Romero's guard.
Romero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Craig. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Craig has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1#
Craig is in close to Romero's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Craig is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Craig accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Craig tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Craig has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Craig has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Romero is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Craig yanks on the arm and Romero is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Craig.

Burt Craig decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
