Hopkins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rivera was covering up waiting for the punch and Hopkins finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rivera has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hopkins off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Hopkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rivera counters with a left to the body.

After the fight, Danny Rivera was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Billy Jacobs decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Walls shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hopkins sprawls well. Hopkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Walls gets slowly back to his feet.
Hopkins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hopkins looks to land a right hand but Walls moved out of range.
Walls avoids the head kick by Hopkins. #TD#
Hopkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
