We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Asten pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces The Way back to the cage. Asten follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gabe Asten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Way seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Asten shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! The Way is backing up but Asten catches him with a final right hook that drops him! The Way covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Asten Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

We've been hearing reports that The Way has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
The Way is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Asten just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! The Way has gone limp and this one is over!
