Headingery walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Headingery tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Thomas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A shot to the liver by Blanco. Beautiful body shot.
Blanco throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Headingery stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Headingery has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
