Zass fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zass lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.#CUT#It looks like Dong Hyun Kim has been cut.
Kim throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zass counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kim throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Zass to counter with a crisp jab.
Kim tries to clinch but Zass moves away
letting Zass counter with a right hand.
Kim misses with a hook
and Zass scores with a counter punch that sends Kim to the canvas! Zass smells blood - he's punishing Kim with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kim has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Zass connects with a body shot that sends Kinski's belly button to the back.
Zass ducks under a wild hook from Kinski.
Kinski looks to score with a jab to the body but Zass is just out of range.
Zass throws a jab but it's blocked by Kinski.
Zass misses with a series of wild punches.
Zass ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Zass bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zass keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kinski.
Zass takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A jab from Zass finds it's way through Kinski's defenses.
Zass lands a jab to Kinski's midsection.
Kinski misses the shot to the body.
Zass is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kinski looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zass throws a lazy right hand but Kinski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zass takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Badass walks into a straight right hand from Zass.
Badass gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Zass gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A very excited looking Alexander Zass made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. |

Zass tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Zass rolls, trying to escape but Gardner keeps control of the position.
Zass is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gardner.

Gardner has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zass has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Gardner is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Zass knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Zass for a finish.

Zass is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Gardner gets his way!
