Hoodwell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Casanova throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hoodwell misses with a double jab
and Casanova counters with a straight right hand.
Hoodwell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Casanova avoids the head kick by Hoodwell.
Hoodwell is pawing at Casanova, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Casanova's nose. Casanova is badly hurt! Hoodwell pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Casanova tries desperately to hold on but Hoodwell is relentless in his assault! As Casanova receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Hoodwell away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KJ Hoodwell!

Kaiser looks to throw the jab but Casanova is out of range.
Casanova swinging wildly here.

Casanova stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kaiser loads up on a big right hand but Casanova slips the punch.

Casanova unleashes a big counter combination but Kaiser bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kaiser thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kaiser fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Casanova manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Casanova on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Kaiser misses its intended target.
Casanova swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The fighters circling - Kaiser throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Casanova throws an overhand right that lands on Kaiser's shoulder, as Kaiser tries to avoid the shot.

Casanova has his takedown stuffed
and Kaiser counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #T1#

and Kaiser cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Casanova shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kaiser defends it nicely.
Casanova uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kaiser.
Casanova tries to clinch but Kaiser moves out of range.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Kaiser and Casanova goes tumbling to the canvas! Kaiser follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. #ROC#Casanova is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#SUB#
Kaiser wants to work for an arm triangle but Casanova is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Casanova is still in real trouble! Can Kaiser finish him?
Kaiser uses his free foot to push down on Casanova's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Casanova.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Casanova can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kaiser loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Casanova scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kaiser land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kaiser stands and salutes the crowd.
