Vera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hammond looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vera could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hammond throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vera.
Vera sizes up Hammond with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hammond shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vera defends it nicely.
