Marsi closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Sloppy strikes from Marsi. Those never looked like landing.
Rodri has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rodri throws a looping overhand right but Marsi ducks down to avoid it.
Rodri jabs at Marsi's body.
Marten Marsi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marsi takes a kick to the side of the head.#KD2#
Oooooh!!! Rodri has knocked Marsi down with a huge combo! Rodri steps away and waves a wobbly Marsi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2#It looks like Marten Marsi has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodri scores with a nice head shot.
Marsi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rodri to score with a decent uppercut.
Rodri fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rodri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marsi fails to land with a series of punches.
Rodri wants to counter with a clinch but Marsi pushes him away.
No joy there for Marsi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marsi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rodri stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Marsi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rodri. That one must have hurt.
Marsi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rodri connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rodri scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#ROC2#Marsi is rocked!
and Rodri counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Marsi! He's just covering up as Rodri starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calisto Rodri!
Marten Marsi was interviewed post fight and said 'yo what?'.

Marsi misses with a two punch combination.
Marsi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A countering left hand to the body from Dampfhammer misses.
Marsi scores with a three punch combo!
Marsi throws a lazy right hand but Dampfhammer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marsi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dampfhammer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Marsi with a body shot.
Dampfhammer moves out of range of the strikes.
Marsi throws a series of punches but Dampfhammer avoids them all with ease.
Marsi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dampfhammer lands a lovely overhand right.
Dampfhammer lands a brutal uppercut that launches Marsi off his feet! Marsi tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Wilson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wilson lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson controlling from the top position.
Wilson throwing strikes but missing.
Wilson stands and throws Marsi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Marsi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wilson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Marsi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Wilson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marsi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marsi's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marsi wants to stand but Wilson is controlling the position.
Wilson chips away with some ground and pound.
Wilson lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Wilson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wilson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Marsi can't keep his opponent in guard - Wilson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Wilson continues to hold on tight.

Wilson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Marsi for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Marsi gets caught napping as Wilson dives in and scores a takedown. Marsi manages to retain guard.

Marsi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
