Savga is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rondon.
Savga backing away here, and Rondon unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Savga looks to throw the jab but Rondon is out of range.

Despite the aggression on Rondon's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A big left from Savga misses.
Rondon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Rondon counters with an inside leg kick.

and Rondon counters with a thumping low kick.
Savga tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rondon was well out of range. Poor timing from Savga.

Nicolae Savga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Savga turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Rondon off and cradles Savga's limp body as Rondon celebrates with his corner.
