Almeida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burns manages to avoid it.
Burns misses with a head kick.
Almeida looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Martin Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL#
Burns darts in and clinches Almeida up against the cage.#BC#

Burns closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #SUB#
Burns tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB#
Burns working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Burns trying to control the action but Almeida is working from the bottom.

Burns is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Almeida is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. #SUB#
Burns has hold of Almeida's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Almeida tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Burns cranks the arm and Almeida screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Almeida, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Almeida lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. #CUT2#It looks like Szymon Bartkiewicz has been cut.
Bartkiewicz fails with a takedown attempt.
Almeida lands with a shot to the body. #KD2#
Almeida drops Bartkiewicz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bartkiewicz looks back up at him and smiles so Almeida waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Almeida connects with a stiff jab that staggers Bartkiewicz - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Snake loses concentration momentarily and Almeida pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Snake crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Almeida finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
