Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Liddell takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Eat swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Eat pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Eat works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Eat tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wood was well out of range. Poor timing from Eat.
Eat lands a glancing blow to the side of Wood's head.
A lazy left from Eat finds it's target.
Eat is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

and Eat takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Asai cracks Eat with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Asai cracks Eat with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Eat tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Asai pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Eat is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Yoshihiro Asai opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. |
