Welch lands a jab to the head.
Welch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Welch as he connects with a hook.
Welch works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That kick from Welch tenderised Forking's leg. Forking is trying to keep his angry face on.
Forking fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Welch manages to avoid it.

Welch connects with a right that clearly hurt Forking. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Welch proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Forking collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Forking throws a combination that misses #TD2#
and Davi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Forking's guard.
Forking on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Forking tries to get out of the position.
Davi lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Davi chips away with some ground and pound.
Davi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Forking knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davi on the ground.
Davi controls the position.
Forking taking a bit of punishment here - Davi scoring with strikes.
Davi working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Forking tries to bench press Davi off him but Davi keeps the position.

Davi cracks Forking with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Davi immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Forking is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Davi!

Forking dives in and grabs Paulie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paulie pushes down on Forking's head and hops out.
A head kick by Forking misses #TD#
and Paulie counters with a shoot takedown. Forking fights it but they end up in guard.
Paulie controlling from the top position.
Paulie is working Forking over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Paulie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Forking's head.
Paulie lands a couple of digs.
Forking looking for a sweep. Not yet Forking, not yet.
Forking trying to keep a closed guard but Paulie is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paulie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Paulie with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Forking can do anything to dispel that myth.#T1#
Forking controls Paulie momentarily but Paulie frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Paulie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Forking is looking to stand back up but Paulie counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Forking.
Paulie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Paulie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Forking with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Forking is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Paulie is landing with some decent strikes but Forking is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Paulie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Forking looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Paulie content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Paulie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB#
Forking wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Paulie has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Forking's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Forking is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Paulie!
