#R1# Kaneko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Doolan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Doolan lands with a hook. Kaneko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kaneko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Doolan pinned against the cage. Doolan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Doolan slaps away a takedown attempt from Kaneko, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mickey Doolan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Kaneko. A left and a right from Doolan both land. Nice combination. Doolan thuds his right hand into Kaneko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.#ROC#Kaneko is rocked! Kaneko has his takedown stuffed and Doolan counters with a stiff right hand. Kaneko is still on wobbly legs! Can Doolan finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Doolan stalks Kaneko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kaneko's face. Kaneko staggers backwards, shaken. Akira Kaneko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Doolan as Kaneko shoots in. We've been told by Doolan's head coaches at PSE Elite $100 (16coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kaneko darts in looking for a takedown but Doolan gets double underhooks and turns Kaneko into the cage. Doolan cracks Kaneko with an open hand slap. Doolan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kaneko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Doolan as he jumps to the side. #T1# Kaneko on the wrong end of a nice jab. Doolan lands a hook that stumbles Kaneko back into the cage. Doolan follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Kaneko to the canvas! Doolan pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Kaneko has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

#TD2# Khasbulaev decides to pull guard. #SUB2# Kaneko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khasbulaev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kaneko has managed to get both his arms back between Khasbulaev's legs - danger averted.#SUB# Kaneko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kaneko stopping the sweep attempt from Khasbulaev. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Khasbulaev holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaneko looking to pass the guard. Kaneko wants to control from the top but Khasbulaev keeps moving. #T1##SUB2# Khasbulaev is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kaneko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Khasbulaev's body to avoid the submission. Khasbulaev has instead reached around Kaneko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Khasbulaev arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
