We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Buceba lands a nice short elbow.

Ryan wants to take the fight to the mat but Wang manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ryan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wang after a bit of a struggle.

Ryan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wang walks away with a smile on his face. Ryan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ryan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wang.
Wang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ryan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Allen is trying to stick to Ryan's back but Ryan is turning into Allen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Allen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ryan.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Craig Ryan.
I think Allen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ryan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
