#R1# Gracias is looking to clinch but Mulligan is avoiding it.
Gracias shoots in and drives through. Mulligan sprawls well. Mulligan looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Mulligan throws a lazy right hand but Gracias sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gracias shoots in looking for a takedown. Mulligan tries to sprawl out of it but Gracias keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mulligan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mulligan! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracias walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#T1# Mulligan connects with a right hand. Gracias shakes it off. Gracias changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mulligan tries to avoid it but Gracias manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mulligan to the ground. Mulligan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mulligan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muchas Gracias. That's going to take a lot out of him. Decent striking displayed by Mulligan there. Mulligan misses with a hook. No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracias. Mulligan misses with an uppercut. Gracias saw that one coming. Gracias half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Muchas Gracias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mulligan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mulligan wants it to stay on the feet. Mulligan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.#TD# Gracias shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mulligan napping and manages to drive through into side control!#T2# Mulligan defending against the ground and pound. Gracias lands a decent elbow from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Mulligan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.#SUB# Gracias in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mulligan is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
