Gilmore is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Illi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gilmore is looking to take a break and control but Illi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Illi is being controlled here.
Gilmore tries to move to mount but Illi blocks the move with his legs.

Gilmore wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Illi, who protects the arm well.

Gilmore is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Illi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Illi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gilmore anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Illi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gilmore slips an arm under Illi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gilmore has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gilmore is squeezing on Illi like an anaconda would it's prey. Illi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Morales throws a nice looking combination but Illi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sloppy strikes from Morales. Those never looked like landing.
Illi avoids the head kick by Morales.
Morales misses with a head kick.
Illi feinted with a counter takedown.
Morales looks to throw the jab but Illi is out of range.
Illi half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Morales rushes Illi with punches - Illi moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Illi goes down! Morales follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Johnson tries for a takedown but Illi circles away easily
and Illi counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Illi to acknowledge the strikes.
Johnson throws a leg kick that is checked
and Illi counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Johnson falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

Morales tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Illi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Illi went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Morales fails with an attempt to clinch.
Morales looks to land a combination but Illi avoids it well.
Illi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Morales sprawls and moves away.
Morales will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Morales lands a big head kick that sends Illi tumbling to the mat! Morales takes a step backwards and waves Illi back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2#Illi is rocked!
A head kick misses from Illi.
Oh Illi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morales throws a powerful right kick. Illi tried to block low but the kick was high! Illi was taken right off of his feet! Morales jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.#TD2#
Washington darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2#
Washington is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Illi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Washington.

and Illi counters with a crisp one two that drops Johnson! Illi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Johnson to his feet! Johnson is in big trouble!#ROC#Johnson is rocked!
Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Illi counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Johnson off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Illi follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Johnson was out before he hit the floor.
