Carrdwell misses with an uppercut. Fighter saw that one coming.
Carrdwell throws a push kick but Fighter slaps the foot to one side.
Carrdwell misses with a jab to the body
and Fighter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Carrdwell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fighter connects with a stiff jab that staggers Carrdwell - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Island Fighter!
Island Fighter seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Carrdwell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gayle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gayle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gayle! #REVR#

Carrdwell loads up on a big right hand but Stewart slips the punch.
Carrdwell throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stewart counters with a straight right hand.#CUT#It looks like Ben Carrdwell has been cut.

Stewart connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Stewart connects with a body shot that sends Carrdwell's belly button to the back.

Stewart feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Carrdwell crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Carrdwell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Billips on his heels. He'll look to pass Billips's guard now, I'm sure.
Carrdwell works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Carrdwell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #SUB#
Carrdwell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Billips is just riding it out for now. Carrdwell eventually gives up the hold.
Carrdwell is taking a breather. Billips says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB#
Carrdwell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Billips doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carrdwell.

Holmes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carrdwell to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Carrdwell wants to control from the top but Holmes keeps moving.

Holmes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Carrdwell is controlling him. #ES2#
Holmes is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Carrdwell lands with a short shot to the head.

Nzelibe takes one to the chin there.
Nzelibe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carrdwell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nzelibe somewhat.
Nzelibe closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carrdwell circles away.

and Carrdwell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wisdom Nzelibe . That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nzelibe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Carrdwell is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Nzelibe flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Nzelibe is out cold! Carrdwell holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
