We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sleziacik has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadda Jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fadda Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Vick, looking for a takedown. Fadda Jr pushes Vick against the cage but Vick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vick takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fadda Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Vick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fadda Jr's guard.

Vick has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Walker to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vick is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Walker pulls down on the head and he's put Vick to sleep! This one is all over!
