Abbot's coach down at Viking Bizorkers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Abbot's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Abbot closes the distance and clinches up with Kulvics, looking for a takedown. Abbot pushes Kulvics against the cage but Kulvics circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kulvics throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abbot.
No joy there for Kulvics, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Abbot is looking to clinch.
A quick step to the side and Kulvics tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Christian Kulvics.
