Weerasethakul with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Gardner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Weerasethakul looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gardner connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Weerasethakul some visible discomfort.
Gardner is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Weerasethakul will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Gardner.

That was a close round but I would say that Bukaw Weerasethakul will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Gardner counters with a single leg into guard. Weerasethakul didn't expect that.

Weerasethakul is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gardner has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
