Oezdemir manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Oezdemir is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
As Oezdemir tries to get set, Johnson tries to push him back and clinch up but Oezdemir manages to avoid the attempt.
Oezdemir tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt.
Oezdemir is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

It looked like Johnson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oezdemir tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oezdemir to the ground. Oezdemir escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As Oezdemir looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo but Oezdemir just gets out of the way.
